I think Ford speakers cost Luke $18.00 each to replace paper cone single coil speakers. Fitment was perfect in 2005 Ford F150. Sound quality was slightly better. Informed that it will be significantly noticeable after I upgrade the stereo.

    • IMPORTANT: Double check polarity
The included wire harnesses fit my 2003 F150, but the positive/negative wires were opposite of how it is wired on my truck. I didn’t realize this until I read a review mentioning it after I installed them. When I went back and switched the wires for all the speakers, wow! what a difference. The mid-range and bass tones improved a lot with the correct wiring. This is probably specific to only certain model vehicles, so just double check yours before installing. These speakers are a definite upgrade from my 20W factory speakers and make for an affordable and super easy upgrade to your existing stock audio. If you’re upgrading with an amp and subwoofer, I wouldn’t go with these speakers though. Spend a little extra to get speakers with higher end sound quality. ... show more

    • Easy plug and play! Not as much bass as factory
Bolts right in and harness works perfect. You may have to use pliers and pinch the connectors a bit to make them tighter. I had to flip the passenger front speaker upside because the harness being longer with the adapter kept getting caught on the window regulator and pulling the harness out of the speaker. They do work great though, wouldn’t consider them an upgrade from factory due to the fact they don’t have a ton of bass ... show more

Fit directly into the opening and the speaker connection adapter worked flawlessly. Sounds the best it eve has! BUT FOR THAT GREAT SOUND! You need to pull the old seal off the top of the previous factory speaker and place it over the new Kicker. It will use the door for a rich deeper sound. Followed a guy on Youtube for the install, very simple. The previous seal on the factory speaker will destroy it but they are garbage anyway. ... show more
