I installed this Kicker 46CXA400.1 amp in my 2023 Jeep JL with the factory Alpine 10" sub, and after a little adjustment, some sound deadening material in the factory speaker box, and a bit of poly fill, this amp made that speaker come to life in all the right ways. The gain and bass boost are really nice for tuning the factory speaker without overdoing it. The size is perfect for under the seat, and the refurbished condition didn’t concern me much. Kicker amps have a pretty solid reputation for being reliable, as long as you hook them up correctly. So far, I am ecstatic with it. I can’t wait to eventually upgrade to a Kicker low-profile speaker and see how that pairs up. For now, this was a great upgrade and made a huge difference. ... show more

Always use kicker for your amp. These are the most reliable amps that stay cool and push hard. I have the 800.1 in a jeep and the 1200.1 in my truck. Always use kicker! No other option!

Absolutely nothing wrong with product. My only regret is since I bought the entire Kicker set I should have bought brand new amp to get the extended 1 year kicker warranty instead of saving $40 for a reman. And a couple of months warranty

Good customer service. Ordered 2, one for my daily driver and one for project truck. 1 did not work. Returned with no hassle and ordered another of the same. The bass knob adjuster is a must have if switching between music types.

I paired this little guy with a kicker 10 inch comp RT truck wedge. The subwoofer is rated to handle 400 watts at 2 ohms and this little amplifier is rated 300 watts at 2 ohms but Kicker is typically conservative in their ratings. My only complaint is that you have to buy the base knob separately which I recommend. ... show more

It was sent as certified but I never got to experience what this Amp can do. I am experienced with car audio systems, teaching others how to choose what for what type of sound they are after from box type for their car all the way down to the Hz.
