The dashboard tweeters were the last stock speakers in my 2022 Tacoma. I have a 10" powered sub behind the rear seat, Kicker 6 x 9's in the doors and the 46CST204's tweeters in the dash. It is a vast improvement from how it sounded before. The tweeters really completed the package. The "fits your vehicle" wasn't exactly correct though. It says to modify the old speaker bracket, which I did, but it's not a simple thing with the magnet and capacitor on the stock speaker. With the largest mounting bracket provided I could barely cut the old speaker out and still have enough to hold the new speaker. They sound good enough for the 5 stars. ... show more

So... My setup is as follows... a 2002 Ford Ranger Extended cab (4door) with a brand new Atoto S8 Pro pushing Robert Fosgate 3-way 6x9s up front and Robert Fosgate 2-way speakers in the back. I have NO AMP pushing a subwoofer or anything else. When I first changed from the factory speakers to Robert Fosgate... I was a little underwhelmed with their performance. I figure they are used to being pushed by a large amp and I didn't have one. I seemed to have plenty of bass... Just not the higher, crisper tones I was looking for. Everything was a little muddy. I installed these simply by removing the door cards, popping out the speakers and soldering the wire directly to the terminal connectors that push on to the speaker... Not the speaker itself. The whole job only took maybe 30 minutes. I decided just to use their eggshell looking angled mounts and mounted them to the triangular spot just inside from the rear-view mirror. This allowed me to angle it perfectly toward me while I drive. A very easy way to mount and it looks very high-end! All I can say is WOW! What a difference! I jammed Van Halen and the voice and guitar work was SO CLEAN... It was exactly what I was missing all along. So I will enjoy my truck all over again now! Buy these...
