This is a surprisingly excellent compact travel umbrella that is superbly designed and easy to use. * Auto open and Auto close with the push of a button in the ergonomic handle * Exceptional wind resistance without collapsing. * Auxilliary light mounted on the pivoting bottom of the handle is great for illuminating your path at night or for use to find a keyhole in an outside door in the dark while still protecting against rain * Ribs of the umbrella are reinforced with fiberglass and provide a robust strength to the umbrella. * Folds down to a small footprint with an included cover and weighs only one-pound. Easily fits in a purse or briefcase. The construction, design and functionality of this umbrella is far superior to many cheaper models that can't hold up to wind, or mechanisms that fail quickly. This is also a great umbrella for members of the military who are generally limited to using a black umbrella while in uniform and need compact solutions for the purpose. All in all, this is an unquestionably great design and clearly has earned a FIVE STAR rating, along with my honest and VERY hearty recommendation. I live in the Windy City (Chicago) and I am always on the hunt for good umbrellas. The wind combined with the rain can be fierce and ordinary umbrellas crumble and generally cannot handle the strong winds. This is a sturdy and powerful little umbrella. I love the fact that it is compact and not very big at all. It is powerful and the flashlight at the end is an added bonus. I am really, really happy with this umbrella and I am going to order another one for my husband.

This umbrella works great. I love the flashlight in the handle. Nice extra feature. The umbrella works well, although I need to work out because depressing it back to the latched and closed position is difficult for me. It is a tough umbrella, not wobbly or weak, so it does take some muscle to click it down. The open function is fast and easy. The size is great, not too large. Reasonable for everyday use. 5 Stars
