I bought these and took them into the dealership to get cut and programmed for my 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid, because the dealership quoted me $350/key to get it done. When I showed up with these, they said "These won't work, they won't be programmable." I had them try anyway, and 30 minutes later I walked out with two programmed keys and $600+ of instant savings.

They worked very well. Disassembled both the old and new. Removed old keys and old circuit boards ..... and placed each into new fobs ...... saved new key blanks and new circuit board for possible future use. This was for my granddaughter Ford ...... she is now a happy young lady ...,,

6 months ago, I got these to replace the valet key that came with my 2013 Ford fusion. After going back-and-forth with the Ford dealership for months just to get the key cut (which never ended up happening), I was finally able to get them cut by a local locksmith. Just recently I used an OBD programmer to program them myself at home. Once it was programmed, the key worked perfectly. I was having to hit the button multiple times in order to get the key to lock or unlock the door, that cleared up once I replace the batteries in the keys (since the key doesn’t light up I couldn’t tell the battery needed replacing it until after it was programmed). Now they’re working great! I was even able to have the key sent with the memory seats, so now whether me or my spouse are getting into the car, the seats will automatically adjust to the right position when hitting the button. So, for $35 for the set of keys, $65 for the OBD programmer, $50 to have both keys cut and $8 for new batteries, I was able to have two new fully working keys for my car! I was able to have two keys cut, programmed and fully working for my car for about $160, far less than the $500-$600 I would’ve been charged at the dealership. I took off a start for the wonky battery, but I would still buy this all over again if I had to (I saw reviews saying they weren’t able to do the programming themselves at home, so thought I’d leave a pic of the programmer that I used in case it helps. I was able to program both of my keys with this one device)

One key didn't work.
