  • Hot-swappable Support: With the pre-lubed Gateron G Pro mechanical tactile brown switch providing unrivaled tactile responsiveness with up to 50 million keystroke lifespan. You can also hot-swap the Q3 with almost all of the 3pin and 5pin MX mechanical switches on the market (including Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda, etc.) without soldering required. The PCB-mounted screw-in stabilizer for big keys such as space bar, shift, enter, and delete are designed for less wobbliness.
  • Innovative Double Gasket: This Double-Gasket Structure allows the keyboard to maintain the flexibility of the gasket structure and improves the overall typing sound. We added silicone pads between the top and bottom cases to significantly reduce the sound resonance between the metals and reduce the noise of the impacted metals.
  • Double-shot PBT Keycaps & South-facing Backlight: The Q1 comes with our unique OSA profile and double-shot PBT keycaps that aim to provide a more comfortable and subtle fingertip feel with excellent oil resistance for long-term use. The south-facing RGB is designed to better illuminate the keyboard backlight from the typists angle and free from interference when the user installs Cherry- profile alternative keycaps on the Q1.

  • Quite Simply The Best Keyboard
Color: Hot-swap Gateron G Pro Red Switch
I was blown away by the Keychron Q1 Mechanical Keyboard. Out of the box, this thing oozes quality. The weight is incredible--this baby is built like a tank. It's got an amazing sound--no annoying pings. The Gateron Red keys are silky smooth and come pre-lubed from the factory. I was astounded at how wonderful the feeling of typing on this keyboard is. The RGB lighting is fantastic. I can't say enough good about this keyboard. It's one of those rare items that I think is worth every penny and I look forward to years of typing on it. My first mechanical keyboard was a Keychron C1 and the Q1 blows that one out of the water, by a long shot. If you're in the market for a mechanical keyboard, pony up the dough and buy this thing already. It's hard for me to imagine a better keyboard experience. ... show more

  • Dude. Wow.
Color: Hot-swap Gateron G Pro Brown Switch
Lifelong PC gamer and career Marketing Guy, so I spend a TON of time typing. I've always believed you spend money where you spend your time, so I never skimped on keyboards. I can tell you without hesitation this is the finest I've ever used. The typing experience is unparalleled. The lighting effects are not my thing and I typically turn them off, but I have to admit I was really impressed with all the options. Right out of the box this thing performs unbelievable. You won't be sorry. ... show more

  • Great mechanical keyboard that is very nicely constructed
Color: Hot-swap Gateron G Pro Brown Switch
I tried the Keychron V1, which is a great bargain, but couldn't help picking up the Q1 during the Prime Day sale. The Q1 looks about the same but weighs much more due to the aluminum chasis. The Gateron Pro switches (I went fot the brown ones) are also smoother than the switches included on the V1. I also like the fact that you don't need to run software to contorl the keyboard, but you can customize everything including the RGB with VIA which you can run from a browser. I would say this keyboard is better than other similar boards (eg. GMMK Pro) at an affordable price. Very happy with the keyboard. ... show more

  • Great keyboard, but be careful with other keycap sets
Color: Hot-swap Gateron G Pro Red Switch
I really like the keyboard, the layout is excellent, it's much better than the smaller ones without function keys and a too integrated cursor block, and it is more compact than a standard TKL layout. I have a smaller (Drop ALT) and a larger (Drop CTRL) and this one is from a layout perspective better. The Gateron red keys are silent and VERY smooth. They are much smoother than the Cherry Silent Red I'm using in the two other keyboard, but not quite as quiet. There is a certain amount of movement in the stems as well and they don't feel as solid as the Cherry switches. The keycaps are decent but slighly cheap. I was hoping for better. Some of the hollow sound is coming from the keycaps. I tried solving the problem with my Drop cap set (Matt3o MT3 Susuwatari), but the problem is, that the Keychron keyboard has a fraction of a milimeter less spacing between the keys. Some of the keycaps touch and create a slight scratching/binding against each other. The overall with of the keys (e.g. from Caps Lock to Enter) is 2 or 3 millimeters less than the Drop CTRL, which means, there is overall a bit less space per cap. While I do like the Drop keycaps better (and they are much higher quality), I switched back to the Keychron caps since there is less binding with them. Overall this is a great keyboard, I just wish it would fit other keycap sets better, since this is the biggest weakness of the keyboard. Soundwise the keyboard sounds fine, the one complaint I have is the spacebar which is much louder than the rest of the keys. Slightly annoying, but I guess I'll get used to it over time. The configuration software is decent, but clumsy to use and doesn't recognize the keyboard, so a download of a JSON file is in order to unblock that. I do like the knob for volume control, alhtough I do realize that it is just a gimmick, with no actual value over using keys. ... show more

  • Missing Keystrokes on MacOS Ventura + Q1
I could never figure out if it was a hardware issue or a MacOS software issue, but when I had to type my password 5x just to get it right, I knew that something was wrong. I opened up a plain text doc to type my password again, and sure enough: one of the keys wouldn’t work until I pressed it 5x in a row. This wasn’t an issue that I could replicate every time either. It reminded me of the older MacBook keyboard-gate situation where keys would just randomly stop working. Plugged it in to both a top of the line MacBook Pro and MacBook studio and had issues with both. Mind you, this keyboard is hardwired so it wasn’t some wireless interference issue either. I really liked this keyboard straight out of the box, but it wasn’t long before I started having issues with it. Seems to be how things go these days with most non-Apple, Apple accessories. Before buying you should also understand that this keyboard is made for little people with little people fingers. As a large handed man, my typing accuracy has never been worse than on this thing. Last thing… I have three other Keychron keyboards, and something I’ve noticed about all of them is this: Right out of the box the keystrokes feel fantastic. Buttery smooth, reliable, accurate, etc… but a few months go by and they almost begin to feel gritty, more clunky and not so effortless. Maybe I just let these external peripheral gadgets mess with my head. But for those of you out there who find this useful, you’re welcome. ... show more

  • One of the best keyboard I've every tried.
Color: Hot-swap Gateron G Pro Red Switch
I was using the Logitech mx mini before this keyboard and it was a great little keyboard. The mx mini are easy to adapt to and I can type pretty fast with it. When I gave this keyboard a try, initially It was really hard to get use to, especially because this keyboard is much higher and I didn't have a hand rest. However after a few hours of grinding monkey type, I finally got used to it and I don't think I will ever go back to mx mini. The mx mini just feel mushy in comparison. ... show more
