    • Easy and bright
I know nothing... literally nothing... about electrical wiring but these were easy to install myself. Here's a breakdown: 1: turn off your breaker so you don't kill yourself 2: unscrew your current light fixture from the ceiling. It should still be connected to the ceiling with wires. 3: take all the caps off the wires. They usually twist off. After this step you should be able to take the old fixture all the way off. There should be 3 wires hanging down from the ceiling. Black, white, copper. 4: get the new light fixture and connect the wires. Twist white from light on to white from ceiling and twist the cap on. Repeat with other colors. 5: screw the light fixture onto the ceiling and turn the breaker on. If your light doesn't turn on, repeat the steps and make sure both ends of the wires are squished into the cap. Seriously, the hardest part was holding the light and trying to screw it to the ceiling at the same time. It is easier with 2 people but not impossible.
