I have purchased three of these cabinets for garage storage. I like the size and shape and the fact that they are not heavy is a plus because they only get used to store overstock house products from Costco, stationary, tools, drills hammers, etc. and in one of the cabinets i removed all the shelves and store garden shoves and rakes. These are not for heavy duty storage, but for everything else i think they are great. In the past i have purchased similar shaped cabinets made of particle board but was unhappy with them after a couple years because, overtime, particle board disintegrates and becomes wobbly and you cant move them, even the laminate particle, aka engineered wood, will become wobbly. Just completed my cabinet. It is sturdy and attractive as such cabinets are. I am writing this review as a heads up to people who are considering purchase. It turns out really nice but it is a lot of work to put together. The instructions are illustrations only and the pieces are lettered.     • Instructions lacking
I put this thing together by myself. The instructions are pictures only. If you are someone who needs both image and words to follow instructions, this item is not going to be friendly for you. Several times I found myself needing to take things apart to re-position, or redo because the instructions were not clear. If you are also someone who struggles with arthritis or hand pain, or weakness of any kind this will not be a friendly experience for you. The times that I did find myself having to take things apart, I had to use a flat head screwdriver to do so. I noticed that when I did this it caused cracks in the seams of the resin. I am unsure if this will cause any structural issues with the item. I realize that I’ve caused that damage, however if the item weren’t so difficult to put together or take apart that would not have happened. Additionally, it suggests using a screwdriver to attach the handles, however the pilot holes are not pre-cut for you. The screws are pointy, suggesting that one should be able to use the screws themselves to puncture the resin, however, to my earlier point, If you are someone with arthritis or hand weakness of any kind this will not work for you. I used a drill and a Phillips screwdriver attachment on my drill to first drill a pilot hole, and then attach the handles. Additionally, the lock loops easily break off. At one point I lightly dropped one of the doors on the floor and the loop broke right off. The shelves seem easily attached, however the prefab hooks on the walls Do easily break off, which I found out the hard way when I was trying to lightly hammer in the shelf. This renders that level shelf unusable. So hammer very very gently or not at all. Overall, this probably is a decent cabinet, but the manufacturer needs to do much much better at instructions and making it friendlier for users when they are putting it together. ... show more

    • Poor customer service.
I called customer service to get a part that was missing on one of the handles. It was not in the box! The response was for me to return the cabinet. I needed it so I kept the cabinet with one piece missing on the handle. The instructions were terrible trying to put it together. It was disapointing that I could not order a extra part for the handle. I do like the cabinet and it serves its purpose for what i needed. ... show more

    • Good cabinet -- Assembly instructions STINK!
Cabinet is just fine for our laundry room. Be forewarned that the cartoon instructions with NO words for assembly are the worst we have ever encountered. When you get to the point where it shows inserting the L1 part, be sure you attach it to the bottom door as well as the side. This step is VERY easy to screw up as the instructions, again, are awful. If you fail to attach the bottom door along with the L1 part, you will NOT be able to attach the door without hammering out (and possibly breaking) the bottom parts. Ask me how I know. ... show more

Arrived maybe two weeks early, well-packaged and without damage. The parts are clearly marked and organized to be easily located, fitting together readily. I assembled it in less than two hours and I am not Mr. Handyman. Most of the parts snap together with a bit of effort to align. There were a few extras, either my bad or a safety hedge. The instructions are barebones but servicable if you have some sense of such things. The purchase is intended to organize my laundry and cleaning supplies in an apartment. Size is as depicted and it will work well. I have not tried storing anything in it yet, but there is no indication there will be a problem. Four instead of five because of price. The plastic is adequate to the job but not as heavy as I had expected. My gut reaction is that the unit could have been priced a hundred dollars less. I was not too put off because of the ease of assembly and the servicability (and neat appearance) of the completed assembly, but it is a point to consider. Also note that there is litle available for less. It just did not seem as heavy and solid as I had expected. I may get another if this one works well over time. Apartment living is all about the crafty use of space and lighter is better of I ever need to move, after all! I will try to update this after I have beaten on it for awhile. ... show more
