This is my third Keter deck box. This model opens in the front and I will use it to store a generator. My previous two deck boxes opened on the top. All three seem to be weatherproof, were easy to assemble, and are very sturdy. My only complaint is that Keter quality control missed the damage to one of the side panels. The damaged panel did not leak in our last rain storm, and I don't believe the damage is a structural problem, but the container (shipping box) did not show any damage which leads me to believe that the panel was damaged prior to packaging. Pros - Low level design perfect for storing lawn mowers and small tools - Low design also perfect where HOAs exist and windy areas. - Aesthethically pleasing and easy to assemble. - Outside panels are paintable Cons - Panels are a hollow design. They seem sturdy but we will see how long term use affects wear and tear. - Pricey by comparison. I have seen taller standard height sheds that sell for much cheaper. But if you absolutely must have a shed that heighted below the fence line like most HOAs require, than this is your ONLY option. ... show more

    • Nice Size, Easy Assembly, Inspect Parts Right Away.
The good. This is a great size for an outside storage for a town house. Holds bikes OR a small lawnmower. Assembly was easy, I did need a second person to push down while installing the 'lid', but I guess in a pinch I could have put something heavy on it. Corners and Sides slide into the grooves allotted for them. Extra hardware (screws and such) were provided and all parts were clearly marked. The bad. Two of the metal pieces were bent. The first was the "U" channel under the lid. That didnt matter so much as it was only pinching the "U" in on one send. The second was the piece that goes between the doors. I had to un bend this to get the doors to mate correctly. Other - Have a shop vac or blower handy, there was ton of resin dust in the box. And the instructions could label which side was up for the sides better, it took some detective work to figure when things were face up or face down. ... show more

    • Very flimsy, low quality overpriced product.
Very disappointing. The door hinges are made of thin plastic, not even 2mm. One of them broke promptly upon assembly, and that was after I had screwed on all the other panels, too late and too much of a hustle to disassemble and return. Patched it up with some epoxy, let us see how long it will last. Even the other good door gets off the hinges when you open it. Assembly instructions confusing, parts mislabeled. Final assembly impossible to align, as it depends on drilling 1/2 inch wood screws. Doors and panels come off the vertical, no matter how careful one is. Avoid this product. ... show more

    • Great party cabinet !
I ordered this to put on my patio to keep supplies in for entertaining . It was supposed to take 3 weeks to ship ,which was disappointing,since I was hosting a weekend retreat and wanted it for that,but I would still enjoy it whenever it arrived. Amazon emailed that it was shipping sooner and would arrive at the end of the weekend. To my surprise it arrived the day before! I read the reviews after I made the online purchase and had a thought of ,”uh oh” but then switched my thought to the fact that it will arrive and be fine . It arrived early ,and although the end of the box was opened ,I didn’t allow myself to think anything would be wrong . And there wasn’t . All of the panels were in perfect condition,and all of the small parts were in their own box so I would say it was packaged well . I was excited to put it together right away . The directions and illustrations were clear to me ,and although it said you need 2 people ,I improvised and did it alone. There were not a lot of tools required which was good . It took me an hour and 15 mins to put it all together by myself ! One tip I would offer - do not use an electric screwdriver as the pieces are plastic and too much torque might damage them . A screwdriver works well and it’s fairly easy to do . Overall I’m very happy with my purchase ! ... show more

    • Weak door hinges
This shed is a good size and looks sturdy. The instructions were clear and all pieces were present. We liked that shelves could be added later. There is a major design flaw in that the bottom door hinges are only lightweight plastic. They were not strong enough to support the weight of the doors opening and closing. They tore. We completed two different door repairs within the first two weeks of use. We eventually had to buy metal hinges to secure the doors. We were very disappointed in the shed as we had to put way too much additional labor and money for parts to make the product work. ... show more
