Our 5-star rating is for several reasons, assembly is not one of them as we had it done by a professional. I can say this,, it took 6 hrs for him and a helper to do. That included making a cut-out in our lawn, laying the 4x4 treated timbers and plywood decking floor. What I do want to convey, the extraordinary treatment by Amazon! First of all the shed was delivered by a trucking firm, on time and a call to let us know they were 1 hr away. They put the shed on my driveway, just where I wanted. My handyman then hauled all of the parts to the backyard, to discover 3 damaged pieces. A slip of paper in the box said any problem with damaged or missing pieces, to call them at the factory, which I did. One of the parts was not in stock, and would take 10-12 weeks to get. Oh my, I had a handyman hired and a timeline set, what to do. The very nice lady at the factory suggested I call Amazon, which I did. The first lady at Amazon, said it was a special dept that handled large items like this. I thought "now I am in for a very bad scene". NO! The lady from Amazon knew EXACTLY what do do. She said"we will send you a whole new shed delivered like before, You take out the needed parts and we will pick up the box for return, at no cost. "That is what we did. I was floored, by the promptness. The curtesy of everyone. The shed was installed with no farther problems. Now the 5 stars for the shed. It is exactly as advertised! It appears to be well made. The design is perfect for us. We have a very cranky HOA, but this passed just fine. We love the included shelves. The doors fit and work great! The light from the skylight and window work great. All in all it was a good decision to go with Amazon, we were treated far above fair. ... show more

    • BUYER BEWARE - CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH

I purchased this shed for my family. The specs on the shed matched everything I was looking for. I found it listed for $999. It’s a shame that the product is made so cheaply, so poorly, and packaged poorly. When I received the box it was slightly damaged, no big deal, I can understand that a 378 pound box is not easy to ship. Upon opening I was rested assured by a piece of paper with red ink in the box that if anything was missing or broken to contact the number on the piece of paper instead of contacting Amazon the seller. Unfortunately when dialing the number multiple times I was placed on hold for over 90 minutes before giving up on reaching a representative every time. I opened a claim three different times online to only be sent a case number by email and no response afterward. The customer service with this company clearly does not exist. You cannot reach a representative or get anyone on the line. If you are lucky enough to get this box without any missing parts or damaged pieces you are lucky. I on the other hand received the box with two missing pieces (part DL88) and a few damaged parts. All I had asked in my claim was for the two missing parts to be replaced and no one got back to me for over a week so I was forced to contact Amazon to return the product as it was just laying around partially assembled in my backyard, and let me tell you trying to put this 378 pound behemoth back into the box it came from was a project. It’s nearly impossible to pack it as 100+ pieces are included. My advice, stay away and stick with a USA based brand. Spend more money on better quality. Not to mention the floor is set up in so many different pieces that just walking on it makes it breaks the seams between the screws they have you put into it. They clearly made this model plug-and-play with other sizes which is why there are so many pieces, but the more pieces the more hassle. ... show more

Pros: All the parts were there, clearly labeled, and in pretty good shape. The instructions were sufficiently clear. The finished assembly looks good -- as advertised -- and appears to be rain proof so far. Cons: Assembly is challenging at times. Plastic is deformable and that is good and bad. Parts don't have to be perfect in order to be made to fit; parts are sometimes hard to fit. In particular, "sliding" the roof panels into place was nowhere near as easy as the word "sliding" would suggest. And screwing screws into plastic (often without predrilled holes) was a lot more difficult than it seems it should have been, even with an electric drill, especially when the location of the screw was in an awkward position (for example, certain screws into the roof from the inside). But a slow, methodical approach over several days, with careful attention to the instructions, gets the job done. If I can do it totally by myself -- and I'm almost 70, with no talent for this kind of thing -- anybody with one or two helpers should be able to put the shed together without much trouble. One final note on pricing. Some vendors were pricing this at around $1700. I bought it for $1000 directly from Amazon. The latter price was reasonable for what this shed is. We already had a concrete pad for our old metal shed and this one fit perfectly on it. It recommends two people to put it together but I did it alone until I needed to have the roof held down so it could be secured but that was easy. Love how it went together and the supplied hardware was all clearly marked in separate plastic bags. Also the instructions were just all pictures and what pieces were to be used per each step instead of written instructions. Since I've put it together we have had some hard rain here in So Cal and this week followed up with the Santa Ana winds and had no issues at all, no water inside and withstood the winds no problem. I looked at them all at our local big store home centers and the Keter looked the best and I now that I have one, it is the best. Came in two boxes and they were heavy, the Amazon delivery guys carried them to where I needed them and then took the pieces out and put them in the order needed. Couldnt be more pleased with the delivery of the shed. Also, I'm 6' 6" tall and its nice to be able to walk around inside it standing straight up.
