  • Quality Storage Building
Size: 8x6 ft
It was pricey but home delivery made it worth it. Assembly was not to hard to figure out. I recommend using the website and written instructions. And to read through each step and don't jump ahead. All the parts were included and we'll marked. An electric screw driver and rubber mallet were about the only tools required. It took two days to complete only because of the heat we were enduring at the time. I am thoroughly happy with it's appearance. I am currently laying concrete pavers to give it a complete look. It really dressed up an ugly corner of my back yard. I already had a concrete pad and I plan on anchoring it down as it is an option. Even though it's only 8x6 there is plenty of room to fit my mower, dethatcher and other tools. I included a 4 ft folding work table. I wish it had included 2 sets of shelves or an option to purchase more but it works. We have had several rain storms and everything is nice and dry. I am installing a solar motion light on the inside for after dark but the window and skylight piece provide plenty of daylight with just one door open. The seller was also great to work with. I had delivery problems but they were quick to respond to me and stayed in touch as they pressured the delivery service after a week delay. So I give their customer service an A+. ... show more

  • A 5 star for several reasons
Size: 8x6 ft
Our 5-star rating is for several reasons, assembly is not one of them as we had it done by a professional. I can say this,, it took 6 hrs for him and a helper to do. That included making a cut-out in our lawn, laying the 4x4 treated timbers and plywood decking floor. What I do want to convey, the extraordinary treatment by Amazon! First of all the shed was delivered by a trucking firm, on time and a call to let us know they were 1 hr away. They put the shed on my driveway, just where I wanted. My handyman then hauled all of the parts to the backyard, to discover 3 damaged pieces. A slip of paper in the box said any problem with damaged or missing pieces, to call them at the factory, which I did. One of the parts was not in stock, and would take 10-12 weeks to get. Oh my, I had a handyman hired and a timeline set, what to do. The very nice lady at the factory suggested I call Amazon, which I did. The first lady at Amazon, said it was a special dept that handled large items like this. I thought "now I am in for a very bad scene". NO! The lady from Amazon knew EXACTLY what do do. She said"we will send you a whole new shed delivered like before, You take out the needed parts and we will pick up the box for return, at no cost. "That is what we did. I was floored, by the promptness. The curtesy of everyone. The shed was installed with no farther problems. Now the 5 stars for the shed. It is exactly as advertised! It appears to be well made. The design is perfect for us. We have a very cranky HOA, but this passed just fine. We love the included shelves. The doors fit and work great! The light from the skylight and window work great. All in all it was a good decision to go with Amazon, we were treated far above fair. ... show more

  • WHAT TO EXPECT
Size: 8x6 ft
Keter Factor 8x6: Easy to assemble with click tabs, screws and large plastic thumb screws. Can be assembled by one person, however masking tape is required to secure the roofing material down when driving in the underside screws (step 40). This Factor shed is replacing my old 2010 Keter Bellevue that was crushed by a tree. This new Factor is a cost reduced design (what’s new) and not as visually appealing, smaller with reduced structural integrity. What you should know: 1) The shed pad must be level or the doors will not close and latch properly. The doors and latches are not adjustable to compensate for slight variances. 2) In the Arizona sun, if the dark brown doors face the sun, the outside door material will expand more than the inside material warping the doors. Keep the doors facing north if possible. 3) The four lower corners of the shed have small openings into the shed, so large bugs, mice or small snakes could find their way in. 4) The floor bottom has numerous openings for bugs to enter. 5) Only very light items can be leaned against the walls, otherwise they will bow out. 6) The rounded corners are very thin/soft material, light easily penetrates through. 7) The walls do not block sunlight, pros and cons. 8) The dark roof material is an issue in the Arizona sun. I painted it with white reflective paint. 9) The roof support system is not as robust as my old Bellevue shed which could be an issue under snow load. 10) The two shelves are useful and easy to install or move. My old 2010 Bellevue was a much better and more appealing shed, but that’s the progression of newer products. Overall, the Factor is a decent fast build shed to store items out of the elements. Follow the manual and make sure everything clicks, aligns and fits properly before moving on. ... show more

  • Arrived with TONS of DAMAGE. Need replacements parts? Wait 3 MONTHS!!!
Size: 8x6 ft
First off, I bought this shed 3 weeks ago for $999. Amazon said it was the last one. I now see that there are 2 available selling for almost $1,500. Many of the other reviewers say they bought it for under $750 somewhat recently. Secondly, The package arrived early and in great condition. I was very pleased with the delivery company, scheduling and the drop off in my garage. There was only one hole in the side of the box where a pallet jack must've bumped into it. I was still very hopeful that there would be no damage to the shed since the box I received was in much better condition than many I have seen from other Amazon buyers. The VERY FIRST thing I see when taking the top of the box off is both black roof panels are heavily damaged. Whoever packed this box 100% knew they were boxing damaged goods and intentionally packaged them anyway. As I continued to pull parts out of the boxes I came across more and more damaged parts. One of these damages were definitely done by that hole in the side of the box. The rest, Well the rest seem to me to have been damaged by the manufacturer and packaged anyway. Lastly, After having taken inventory of all of the damaged parts I reached out to Keter in order to start the process of getting replacement parts. Our email correspondence was adequate. Although I was notified that in order to get replacement parts I would have to wait at least 3 MONTHS for the parts to arrive from Israel. My only other options were to get a replacement from Amazon, Which I am going to try, Or to get a refund. I would consider the refund since I have no faith in Keter as a manufacturer, But I have already leveled the land and built a platform in my backyard for a shed exactly 8'x6'. I cannot find another plastic shed in these dimensions anywhere on the internet. (My wife is 100% against a metal shed.) And custom wooden sheds are way over my current budget. I knew from reading the reviews of other buyers that there was a possibility of a few damaged pieces and that Keter customer service was lackluster, But I was still hopeful I'd luck out and receive a quality product. I was woefully mistaken. All of that aside, If this shed had arrived in mint condition it would still seem a little bit cheap for the $1,000 price tag. Under $750 fells like a more appropriate range for the thin flimsy plastic and plain black plastic roof panels that look like bare tar paper. UPDATE* Amazon has attempted to deliver a replacement shed. Upon arrival the delivery drivers only had 1 of the 2 boxes (half a shed). There is no tracking for a second box. After speaking with a rep from Amazon yesterday and today they are putting in a request for yet another replacement since the other half of this shed does not seem to exist. I was informed that the shipment date for this new replacement would be 6 MORE WEEKS out. ... show more

  • Awesome shed
Size: 8x11 ft
We bought this shed to store our soccer supplies. It was set up at my home. Unfortunately it went thru 2 floods within 3 years. With that being said it has been a fantastic shed. It has held up well and was easy to clean once you got all of the mud out of it. It held its shape and didn't move. In fact, we tried to move it after the 2nd flood and was held together so well we didn't want to risk damaging it by taking it apart. ... show more

  • ORGANIZATION IS KEY! PATIENCE REQUIRED!
Size: 8x11 ft
1. PREPARATION: Make your appointment and be prepared before it arrives by having the foundation done and your day FREE. We wanted extra room so we made it 9 x 12 ...We used pressure treated wood 4x 6x12 (thicker and higher than 2x4's but not necessary ) with concrete blocks under all 4 corners and some extra blocks around the middle. Then we covered it all with plywood. Its very sturdy. It was close to the fence -so to avoid weeds and grass we laid out plastic and filled it up with white rocks for a neat appearance. 2. SHIPPING -day 1: (ZERO STARS) I don't know if amazon uses XPO logistics for everything but they were a nightmare to deal with. Their truck was seized and my shed was never delivered. No one called me to tell me it wasn't coming until i called them. Everything I planned went to hell. 3. SHIPPING -day 2: I rescheduled again for the following saturday and it was supposed to arrive from (9-12) ...again - nothing. I called and to make a long story short the XPO rep was disgusting rude and condascending. After many cold transfers and being left in a black hole, I called Amazon and they were helpful in getting me some resolution. It finally arrived too late to build it - so i had to build it the next day. (IT TOOK ME 3 FULL DAYS because of the shipping nightmare) 4. BUILDING: It started with 2 and ended with 3 people. (TOOK 6 HOURS) (1 person opened all boxes and organized everything by sections, put all screws and small parts on a table, and read instructions) (the other two people: Put the peices together and YOU MUST HAVE an electric screw gun to nail in everything) IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that you DO NOT skip a step or you will regret it!!!!!! READ EACH STEP CAREFULLY. Whatever you do to one side- you must do on the other side! The WINDOW was very easy and looks nice. SUPPLIES/ MATERIALS (DAMAGED): Most of the parts were bent up, warped, stained, missing many screws, and many parts were broken. AFTER ALL I WENT THROUGH- There was no way in hell i would ever return it and start over - Id rather die! We tried to hide these parts in the back part of the shed. But unfortunately some of the front was still damaged. Panels were damaged, but the panels have to also click in to the pegs on the floor board. Those pegs were ALL broken - we managed to get a little click but I do not know how it will handle a lot of wind or storms. WE SHALL SEE. (see pics for the broken pegs) At the end- the roof had a section in the front where there is a GAP in the roof because of the front triangular wall panel being warped -so it didn't align well with the black roof panel. We still have to fix this somehow. Its going to rain the next 3 days so it will probably be flooded. We still have to buy screws for the inside flooring because we were missing MANY. It came with two shelves which were nice. (slide the shelf down the groove vertically, then turn it horizontally and put the board on top at the end. It is meant to go on the corner.) EXTRA: You can buy solar lights if needed. I plan to add some bushes or Pines around it to make it look nicer. AMAZON: I did get a lot of help and great customer service from AMAZON throughout my nightmare experience. Amazon does their best to help you - without their customer service I would have had nothing good to say. ... show more

  • A wonderful little shed
Size: 8x11 ft
I ordered this shed to replace a wooden one that had started to rot. I was replacing a 10x10 she and this was the closest footprint to that I could find. Cons: Item did not arrive when it was promised. To be fair, when I did contact the seller, I was given a phone number for someone to talk to which is great for a nearly $2,000 item. To their credit their customer service was excellent and let me know they have been telling Amazon it take 8-10 BUSINESS DAYS to get there and to stop telling customers a week or less, so this is on Amazon not Keter. A few of the parts were cracked or broken. One of the doors has a crack near the top, and one of the roof corner brackets had some splines broken off. I debated asking for replacements but I had already torn down and removed the old shed and the items inside were taking up my garage based on the delivery dates I had been given. Having waited another week for delivery I did not want to wait weeks more to try to get parts, if that would have even been possible. I felt the damage was not structurally compromising and moved forward. Pros: Best manual for a product I have ever seen. Steps were clear and easy to follow. especially for which fasteners were needed. At least one extra of each screw was included. Very sturdy once built, and engineering included screws in the last few steps to solidly secure parts to each other and improve rigidity. The shed had been through several thunderstorms with 60+ mph winds with no issue. Having the floor as part of the shed helps in building a sound structure. Easy to clean floor. Steel inserts do a great job in a solid skeleton in key points. Lessons learned to help others: Some of the screw points along the roofline from the inside at the front and back were only possible to reach using a screwdriver and required a lot of force so if you are using a drill or other powered driver be aware you may not be able to reach these. The roof panels DO expand quite a bit from heat, making them difficult if not impossible to slide in as indicated. My wife and I could not finish the roof the first day, but when I went out early the following morning when it was cool I was able to move the panels myself and get the final securing done. I had sorted the parts on my deck and the panels were in the hot sun for hours before needed. Perhaps keeping them in a shaded spot could have avoided this roadblock. Snapping on the roof edging on the walls requires a lot of force. and each piece requires a bit of puzzling out exactly which part to snap in first to make it easier. ... show more

  • Great for Price
Size: 8x6 ft
This is a nice little shed. It required 2 people to put together, one of them who is very handy with building things. If you aren’t handy and knowledgeable about tools, you will definitely need help constructing it. It took us around 3 hours. There were some annoying things and we ended up modifying a few pieces. However, it’s very sturdy for the price and seems like it will last. We were able to fit a bunch of stuff in it to make more room in our garage. It fit our lawn mower, 2 adult size bikes, a bike trailer, a very large toolbox, a wagon, and a bunch of odds and ends. The worst part about the experience was the horrible company they used to ship the shed, NSD. They do not deliver on weekends, delivered our shed several days late, and have abysmal customer service. I wish they would choose a different shipping company, but the shed itself is great. ... show more
