Replaced Jensen with Kenwood and made the right choice. Only problem was inner hole had to be widened to fit new speakers. Used a metal blade jigsaw and slowly widened hole to fit. Speakers look and sound great. An upgrade on clarity at high volume for sure. I highly recommend them but double check your existing cut out on both speaker holes, I had one undersized which created the modifying. ... show more

Speakers replacing a set of Pyle Hydras that have served me well, but we're aging. These feel heavy and well made. The cones are rubber vs paper. Tweeters robust and we'll covered. I liked these because the grills were solid but didn't cover the speakers. Simple setup with six screws, and clips for backing. Stainless steels screws are a smart add-on. They matched up easily for preexisting holes and the posts were solid. Sound was matched from old and new speaker. Although left and right for old and new, the new ones sounded more robust in bass. Clarity was better, but that is against seven year old speakers. Cranked the volume and no distortion. These shine at louder volumes. Will review over time, but so far so good. Not sure you need to spend any more money than this. ... show more

    • Over all I am very pleased with them
I stalled two of these speakers on my fishing boat. So far that work very well. No static or feedback. I am not an electronics expert so I cannot contest to much but the music came through very clear. Over all I am very pleased with them. They are marine speakers but I have no gotten them wet so I cannot contest to their water retention either. The box they came in had a template on the backside with dimensions, or an actual cutout and trace to surface template if you like that. Very helpful as I cut the hole with a holesaw bit. ... show more

    • RV External replacement Speakers
2nd time replaced with same speakers. Florida sun, rain and heat take a toll on outside mounted speakers. For price, they preform as expected although would seem they should last longer than 3 years. Both cone and speaker were gone creating an open path into wall cavity for bugs, rain, dirt. Just keep an eye on them after a couple of years. Exact OEM replacement for 2014 5th wheel. Everything lined up including screw holes. Just unscrewed and removed Speaker wires. I did use RV putty to assure proper seal to the side of RV so there can be no leakage where attaches to fiberglass even though speaker has a thin rubber gasket for this purpose. I just don't want want leaks that can be avoided at this juncture and installation as water destroys RV'S. Sound great and since identical to OEM they are matched to Sony stereo. ... show more

I've had these and the white version in my boat for over 6 years and they have performed great with no issues. I'm feeding each of them 50 watts RMS from a cheap Pyle amp and they play loud and clear. I would recommend them for a budget boat stereo.
