I am very happy with this unit. The sound is really good & it has many features. I had it professionally installed so I don't know about how easy it is to install. The only difference between this unit & the Excelon that I can see is the preamp wattage. This unit is 2.5 & the other is 5. Since my wife doesn't play her CD's all that loud, I opted for the lower wattage. At high volume this unit still sounds really good & the choice of colors is a nice touch. I installed it in my big rig. Now I won't be using the mic that comes with the stereo I use a head set but it's cool because if I'm listening to music using my phone and when I get a call it transfer to my head set automatically. You can connect multiple Bluetooth 👌
