I bought 2 of these lamps - they shipped separately and on different days. They are elegant looking and I very much liked how they looked on the buffet. The 1st one was a breeze to install and would give it 5 stars. Different story on the 2nd one. The fineal would not screw straight onto the harp. I tried many times - it seems the threads did not match the threads on the fineal and as a result was very crooked. It would not sit flush on the top part of the shade therefore after tightened the shade was crooked. I had to fool with the harp so the fineal would sit right. The fineal isn't 100% straight but not noticeable if you're not staring at it. Also I just noticed there were 2 very small chips in the back corner of the base. I would give this lamp 2 stars. So if this manufacturer has a quality assurance dept, they failed on this lamp. ... show more

This lamp was extremely well packaged and arrived in Canada in excellent condition. Assembly was pretty easy and the lamp stands straight with no lean. The only little hiccup was that the part the finial screws onto was slightly off center but was easily adjusted with small pliers, so now the lampshade sits perfectly straight. I would describe the colour of the lamp as a warm bronze with gold accents on the lace portion, although golden ruby sounds great too. A lot of light comes through the shade if required, which makes this lamp great for reading or needlework, etc. So very happy with this purchase. ... show more

I ordered the lamp in the photo on this listing, but received this lamp in my photo attached. Fortunately it is my color scheme and is perfect for my credenza. So I decided to just keep the wrong lamp. I have several turquoise accents in my home. Very nice!!

I've been searching for a narrow lamp to set on the secretary in our foyer. But it needed have a low center of gravity because there is a lot of traffic through the doorway. This tall lamp fills up. the space and is weighted perfectly at the base to be stable. The reviews mentioned the pole could be tilted. I was careful during assembly to line up the threads and my lamp is perfectly vertical to the table top. I did fiddle a little bit with the finial, it is designed with uneven leaves the could make it appear to be off, but with a little fuss, that creates a clean line. The only thing that I would be cautious about is the plug is not real secure and a little bump can knock it out of the wall. If you have young children, this may be concerning. ... show more

I bought two floor lamps in the same style before, and have been happy with them. This table lamp is bigger than I thought. Next time maybe I will try the other table model, 20182GR, which looks thinner. It's easy to assemble. The packaging and wrapping is on the cheap side, and should be improved. I was hesitant to order a new lamp because I loved the one I had (which was broken). This lamp met all my expectations of quality and attractiveness. The lampshade is very attractive and the base is weighted. The weighted base is important because it keeps the lamp from being easily knocked over.
