Absolutely love my new dishwasher. Kenmore has never failed me. The extra space up top is great for long utensils. The functions were very easy to learn and select. I love the control lock because I have a 3 year old that thinks she needs to push every button she finds. Extra drying time is a plus also. I hate opening the dishwasher and the dishes are still wet. The stainless steel looks beautiful and it is true finger prints are not showing. So far my dishes have all come out clean and beautiful. ... show more

I WISH I COULD RETURN THIS DISHWASHER YESTERDAY!!! 1. The instruction book is written in such fine, small faint print making it difficult to read. Instructions are not clear. It becomes a guessing game as to how to operate. 2. I see no warranty relating to this model either on website or in instruction book. 3.The dish trays are thin and flimsy and the so called adjustable top shelf is another faulty claim. 4. If you want to attach the machine to a counter top to avoid tipping, you have to buy another part to do so VERY POORLY DESIGNED.. 5. The front panel to select washing cycle is not responsive. Sometimes I have to turn off the machine and start selecting washing cycle again. THIS MACHINE IS NOT WORTH THE INVESTMENT, CHEAPLY MADE FOR THE PRICE AND CERTAINLY NOT "USER FRIENDLY ". This machine replaced a Kenmore dishwasher that I owned for 14 yrs. I never had complaints about performance or QUALITY of this machine.     • Kenmore Elite piece of junk that does not clean and shuts off randomly.

DO NOT BUY THIS DISHWASHER !! LOOK AT THE ONE STAR REVIEWS !! Its a piece of junk that does not wash dishes satisfactorily and is unreliable. It shuts off randomly in the middle of cycles with no solution. The Sears Service Center techs (6) that come out under warranty are clueless. It also does a poor job of cleaning. We were told the technology reuses the same water it washes with to rinse the dishes after being internally filtered. We have had 6 techs come out and none know what to do. They never take out a tool, open anything to check the machine or test anything. Save yourself and your family this horrible experience and buy another product and brand. Again, the service offered under the 12 month warranty is useless. They dont know the machine and act as if they have never seen this it. Stupid suggestions are made like re-booting the electrical breaker in the outdoor service panel to re-set the machine which is outrageous and dangerous. They will blame it on the soap. Another lazy suggestion that is nonsense verified associate repairman. The service techs used for the warranty are more concerned with getting paid than any solutions. We are now in a battle with Kenmore to get our money back 7 months into a 12 month warranty. Do yourself a favor, look at another machine and brand. UPDATE: Kenmore Care on Nov. 7, 2025 left me a voicemail stating they talked to the last one of the 6 repair technicians over the 7 month debacle and they are declining his conclusion that the machine is not repairable. The media could not be loaded. So glad we decided to upgrade to this dishwasher! We actually installed ourselves and it was fairly easy, especially after realizing to access the water connection you need to lay the dishwasher down (the manual actually does say this but we were trying to hook it up like our much older one). Some things I absolutely love: there is enough space to fit tumbler cups or water bottles in the top rack, the way the top rack is structured means I can fit our baby bottles AND the basket with all the bottle accessories in the same space. This used to take up basically an entire side of my old top rack so this small change makes a world of difference to us. Initially we did not realize that the slatted top of the utensil rack opens and clicks in place so we can fit larger utensils with ease. I love the smart wash feature and am amazed at how quiet this is. The only thing I wish was different is that there was more height in the bottom rack so I could fit a large cutting board.
