I always hated the standard key switch pullers that come with keyboards as they are always a hassle to use. This unit does the trick spectacularly! Push down, the tool engages the switch and pull straight up. Press the button on the opposite end and the key switch just falls out. Easy as that! No fiddling / wiggle or pinching required. The built-in key cap pulled works great as well. I do have one issue with this product however as the key cap remover likes to pop lose and get in the way when removing a key switch. It doesn't really have much to clip on to the side of the tool to keep them in place. Overall and excellent tool and time saver for a keyboard modder like me.

It works great as a switch puller, which was my main need for this item since every hot swappable keyboard and keycap set seem to come with a keycap remover. But I am taking away a star because, as a keycap puller (literally half of it's advertised function), it frustrates me. The wires used for pulling keycaps off the board can snap into place on the sides when using it to pull switches, but they don't lock into place when you flip them down to pull keycaps. That's (mostly) fine with standard size keys but ends up being a pain with larger ones like Enter, Shift, etc and doubly so with the space bar. Way more fiddly than it should be if it were designed correctly.

I will never use this over any stock switch/keycap puller that comes free with any keyboard you buy. It is not usable. The keycap puller tong ends don’t stay straight unless you hold them and it’s way harder than just using a boring non flashy one. Trust me, it’s small and not usable. The picture makes it look cool, but once you get it you, realize you won’t want to show anyone this horrible purchase you bought. Might as well say that the switch puller is also horrible and I wouldn’t use it ever due to risk of damaging the switches.

Works great and is the first tool I reach for. The keycap puller is spaced really nicely for me and I like having to push the tongs together rather than spreading them apart. The keycap puller is super fast for doing a whole keyboard at once. Having said that, the keycap puller seems to have some trouble on some switches and I end up then reaching for a more traditional switch puller. Gateron low profiles in particular seem to really defy this thing. But I still think it's great having this as my first pick then using the other switch puller for tougher switches.

For pulling switches I really like this tool so far. It has held up very well and makes pulling switches so much easier and faster. With my favored previous version (the typical two sided metal wire versions) my fingers would get sore from having to squeeze down to get the switches out. It was also easy to catch the prongs on the board sometimes if your angle was off, or even go down to deep and catch the switch housing instead. None of that to worry about with this tool. Easy to line up, easy to pull and release the switch from the tool. So much more convenient! If it holds up for the long term it will be worth every penny. The keycap puller though shouldn't even be on these in my opinion though. It is way to thin and loose to be very helpful. The standard tool is very superior in this case in my opinion. Maybe it would be alright for some very large keycaps that a typical puller has trouble grabbing fully? They don't stay in place very well, either when they are extended to use or snapped into the body for storage... or when using the switch puller they come loose and get in the way in that case. They should offer a version that doesn't have the cap puller and maybe enhance the durability even more instead. They just get in the way in the current version. The switch puller is so nice though that I still think the tool is worth it, even if you are just getting into a board to tinker every once and awhile. Many aspects of the hobby are tedious and time consuming in ways that do not enhance the experience. This a great tool to make one of those things much more tolerable.

I got this so I could easily remove the keys from my Logitech G915 keyboard. The product makes it easy to use and has many great features on it. The only feature I have used it for at this time is key pulling. It made the job easy and fast. I would recommend this to anyone needing to remove their keys.

Most of the time when I buy a new keyboard, they come with a switch/cap puller. But the switch puller needs to be adjusted from time to time and it just starts to hurt my hand and wrist. Switch pulling is not my favorite part of any keyboard redesign for me. But this tool? 10/10 would recommend! I barely put any muscle work into pulling switches now! I just push, pull, and pop! Super fun! The cap puller is a bit loose, but it does get the job done
