I was hesitant at first because I had never owned a tankless system before. After using this I am mad I didn’t sooner. Let me explain. My tankless heater was a huge investment. I knew that I needed to descale it periodically from my installer giving me the details. I was concerned because I priced the service for e professional to do the service and was shocked at the cost. For my area it would have been $400-$500 dollars. This product was totally worth the investment. The ease of use is ridiculously simple. 2 gallons of vinegar and instructions so simple it took less than 5 minutes to install. Per the instructions you run for 45-60 minutes, flush and then use the tankless per normal. I did experience a slight leak at the hot side of the unit but I can’t be sure that the product was at fault or I had it installed but it wasn’t enough to cause an issue and I was able to complete the task with no issues. After letting the unit and hoses dry I have it stored for another use at a later date. Definitely would recommend you protest your investment and get this for your tankless ... show more

This is very easy to use, and I am not a person who knows anything about plumbing. I was nervous, so I watched 3 different You Tube instructional videos and still had my daughter help me. We both agreed that it was a pretty easy process. It takes about 10 minutes to hook it up and get it ready, then it does its thing, and another 5-10 minutes to disconnect. All I needed was a pair of plyers, since some of my valves were hard to open and close. There was no mess to clean up; I just took 5 minutes to rinse the hoses and pump after and let them dry before putting away. I have 2 tankless water heaters that I had installed about 5-6 years ago. I paid over $100 each to have them flushed each year. Last year the price jumped to over $300 (EACH! so yes, over $600!!!) Prices have only gone more crazy since, so I'm sure it's even more now. I have well water; I know I can't just let them go without cleaning. Now that I have the kit, it's just a matter of 3 gallons of vinegar for each unit, and I'm good to go! Yes, like everything else, the price of vinegar has doubled recently, but still, it cost me <$20 not >$600. Even if you are rich, or kinda lazy, just do this. It's no big deal, and it just makes sense. The hoses and pump fit in the bucket with a nice sealed lid to keep them clean and easy to store until I need it again next year.
