I have no problems with this faucet except that it would be nice if the spout were hex-shaped to make it easy to remove and install.

Only stout tap that fits both American and Guinness tap handles!!
I’m baffled that the description for this nitro stout tap doesn’t mention the most important thing about this tap. Sure it says “European Specialty” but that is quite vague. This is the only tap on the web that is compatible with Standard American tap handles and European handles like authentic Guinn
ess handles. All other tap handles on the web will not allow a Guinness tap handle to work. Believe me, I’ve tried. I took a gamble on this one and it works! The reason is the adapter that is included which is not available on its own anywhere. With all that said, I would give it five stars except it isn’t stainless steel and the tap design is nothing like the photo here on Amazon. See my pics. This tap is identical to a authentic Guinness tap faucet minus a few subtle differences. See my comparison in my photos. If you don’t plan on using the propriety Guinness pull handle, then get a stout faucet that is stainless food grade for about the same price.

Nice solid feeling faucet
Nice solid feeling faucet. Operates well when dispensing my Guinness. When finished pouring, some beer will remain in the tip below the restrictor due to liquid surface tension and may dribble out over time. I flick it a little to empty it otherwise its likely to gum up the restrictor. I also rinse i
t out when done drinking for the evening.

Great price, great build quality. I have mine hooked up to just CO2 at about 6-8 PSI and I still get nice cascading head on my beers, although it does take a while to pour because of the slowed flow. I imagine you would have even better results using Beer Gas and at higher pressure. Only set-back is
that it doesn't have a regulator knob, but the tap is still worth it for such a low price. Also, this is a Krome brand tap and is the same thing you'll pay $60 or more at a Homebrew store, online or in your LHBS.

Excellent faucet and price
This is a Krome faucet that is normally sold for 50% more at most homebrew shops. I was concerned that it would be some cheap off-brand faucet but it wasn't. Same faucet my local shop sells for more. Hooked it up and it dispenses exactly as you would expect, happy to add it to my tap lineup.

Bought this initially for doing nitro cold brew at home. Works great & does the job. Now, if only the weather would warm up to *really* enjoy coldbrew...

I was really expecting to get that creamy stout mouthfeel ...
I was really expecting to get that creamy stout mouthfeel using this faucet with CO2, but you really need a nitro setup to benefit from this addition to your kegerator. I immediately went back to my stainless steel Perlick after a few dissatisfying pours.

Love this tap. It actually pours better than the more expensive ones we have, so I may end replacing the others here soon.

I don't have a drip tray but I think my dogs are happy because they get a few drops of beer
Leaks a few drops after you pour, I don't have a drip tray but I think my dogs are happy because they get a few drops of beer.

Works perfectly well. I use it with my homebrewed stouts and ales. Didn't have any luck using Co2. Beer gas worked great at 20psi but you have to have a very low volume of carbonation or you will get a glass of foam. Cheers!

We bought this stout faucet to replace a Taprite that would introduce shavings into each pour of our nitro cold brew. I was a little hesitant because this was priced so low, but I saw the reviews and thought it was worth it. I hope we just got a faulty nozzle, but we don't have time to wait for a rep
lacement as we need to keep our coffee business running. It is a very solid, sturdy stout faucet that looks amazing. Unfortunately, even though the first pour was great, each subsequent pour did not produce the desired foamy effect, and even at one point just poured the normal cold brew. I adjusted the nitrogen output to a little higher (around 40 psi), and waited until the next day to pour. Same thing. We even tested to see if this was the keg or the nitrogen output by using the Taprite stout faucet again after trying the KegWorks faucet. Taprite, although introducing plastic shavings into the drink, consistently poured a nice, foamy cup. Hope I just got a lemon!

This stout beer faucet was inexpensive, so I thought that it might not be as good as others, but at least functional. Well, it works great and is just as good as the other more expensive faucets.
