Very nice woofer. Very small size yet very heavy! 40lbs. The woofer has a volume and 5 presets and also it let's you set low/high frequency to produce in a woofer rather than a speaker. It will give you the perfect setting for any other system or environment. Purchased this and the kw1 wireless adapter to pair with my ls50 wireless ii mains. The kw1 connection was seamless, setup was straight forward and KEF really has delivered on this one. The kc62 really provides a great foundation of musical bass (this is an audio only application for me) and the most surprising aspect is how it took the ls50’s to another level by allowing them to focus on the mids and higher frequencies. Vocals are clearer and more front and center and the the separation in instruments is much improved on what were already great speakers. Highly recommended. ... show more

Wants you find the sweet spot in your living space it completely disappears, honestly you really can’t tell if the base is coming from your speakers or the sub. And the base is beautiful

I really want to love this, as I purchased it to go with my LS50 Metas; but in my room, it just doesn't have enough output, and is (very oddly) very tricky to integrate with the Metas. If you have a very small room and don't play loudly at all, there is no better-looking, better-built small subwoofer; it's tiny, gorgeous, and weighs a lot. Sadly I've returned it and on to a more 'normal' size sub that can pressurize a room a bit more. ... show more

Don't let the small size fool you. This thing has more than ample base. Depending on the music, I often find myself turning DOWN the subwoofer. I use this with the KEF LS50 II Wireless speakers. This subwoofer makes the sound so rich. I absolutely love this system.
