One of the battery slots does not hold the battery well and it will come loose causing the meter to turn off and on constantly. i put a penny behind the battery to hold it in.

does everything the ones 5x the price. thrilled with it so far. came with extra batteries which is good because i don't think it has an auto shut off the only thing it seemed to be missing.

This multimeter comes with a protective case much like one you would use to protect your cell phone. The case is durable and seems built to withstand rugged work environments and minor accidental abuse. The probes are easy to control due to their size and shape, and the built in flashlight works although it is not very bright. This kit has everything to maintain the multimeter when repairs may be needed, including a replacement fuse in case the original gets accidently overloaded and blown. I have never seen button batteries in a multimeter but they work well and lower the overall weight of the tool itself, giving you better control over it when in use. Has a nice storage case to keep it in when not in use which is thick and strong enough to keep everything inside safe. The unit itself is easy to read and is simple to use due to the automatic smart mode it is programmed to utilize by default. 5 stars and worth it, especially if you can get it on sale! If anything notable happens regarding this product during my time using it I'll update my review for you here. Hope it helps and thank you for taking the time to read it. 😊

Love the auto detect feature

The media could not be loaded. Small device, most of the time I use the meter to check continuity and voltage in the outlets, it has this smart feature that can detect between AC or DC voltage, Resistance and continuity. It's good for low voltage job's purposes.

Much easier to read voltage on this and I love having the inductive line test built in to the unit rather than to have yet another/separate device to test for live voltage in a line first.

This multimeter has all of the basic features and function plus a lot of advanced features that are easy to use. The readings appear to be fairly accurate.
