I was skeptical when I saw the price for this bungee cord. I was expecting a flimsy, cheaply made cord but was pleasantly surprised. The bungee cord I received is very durable, thick and much better than a lot of the bungee cords sold by competitors. So far, I've use these to secure the cover to my a/c condenser unit during wind/hail storms after the flimsy, thin bungee cords that came with my cover broke. These seem very durable and thick but you really have to pull hard to get it to stretch. It does stretch to about 48 inches, but not easily. I wanted to use these around prairie grass when it comes time to cut it back and it's tough to get the ends together to connect because the hooks are really thick also. ... show more

I bought these to use on the elevator in my apartment building, which is one of those ancient elevators with a door and accordion gate. The springs on the gate bounce back too quickly for you to get in and out of the elevator, especially if you're carrying anything. In past buildings, these elevators have something that holds the gate open, but this one doesn't. I needed a fast fix because I was getting furniture delivered that I would have to bring up from the lobby myself. This helped hold back the elevator door so I could do so, and helped hold open the front gate of my apartment building for getting the old furniture out. ... show more

Very strong And suits my purpose very well. I bought it to hold a file box on top of my laptop roller bag so that I could just pull both of them with one hand as opposed to occupying two hands. It works very well and would buy it again. Of caution be careful that it doesn’t snap back and hit you!

These are excellent bungee cords, HOWEVER only 9 were sent and the product was described as a 10 pack. They would not send just one, I had to return the whole package and HOPE that the new package would have 10 as described. I needed them right away so I am out one cord.
