I expected a much larger toe box considering how the shape appears. They fit well enough. The rubber around the foot where it meets the sole isn’t as sturdy as it appears. It’s starting to separate from the leather. I was expecting much more from Keen. They are lighter than ones with steel toes so I’m grateful for that. I’d consider it a decent boot at a very reasonable price. I’ve been wearing them daily and they’re quite comfortable. I did replace the insoles as soon as I got them. The original pair looked like someone had worn them without socks for quite some time when I got them. ... show more

Fit very well and true to size. Comfortable right out of the box. If they are anything like my previous pair, I expect years of good durability and service. Weight with carbon fiber toe is much lighter than my previous steel toe version. The black seems to be much more stylish than the brown leather for me. ... show more

These are made in a different country than when the accents were yellow, not red. These are not waterproof. I have tried 2 pair and both leaked around the front of the boot. They are still very comfortable, but living where it rains alot, these are worthless to me

OK, I am picky so, let me start by saying. AWESOME BOOTS! I ordered these not knowing a thing about them. I took them out of the box and immediately I could see what I perceive to be well made boots. The side has HEEL LOCK embossed. That interested me being as on RED WINGS and any other boots you have to tie a simple knot to hell lock. PITA. These automatically lock your heel in when you get to that grommet set. As I put my feet in, they fit like a shoe or boot should. I have walked over 6 miles a day in them and absolutely NO foot fatigue. Thank you KEEN for making shoes and boot that make a huge impact. For me anyways. See how long these last, but after a few weeks, I see no reason to suspect any problems. JMO, if you know your foot size and order properly, you will love these too. I promise. ... show more

The perfect work boot. I love them. UNFORTUNATELY, in less than a year of purchase, the sole started separating. I've contacted Keen and await a response to see if they hold up to their one-year warranty. Other than that, the entire boot is 100% fine. I just can't work in them with the sole separating for safety reasons of course. ... show more

I was a little apprehensive when I first got these because out of the box they felt very stiff and heavy. I put them on and wore them to work the first time and WOW. They are extremely comfortable and super supportive. Love the wide toe box. I can actually wiggle my toes around in there comfortable and they don't feel restricted or bunched up as in most shoes/boots. I bought these to replace a pair of 6 year old Timberland boots. The Timberland were still very comfortable, even after 6 years but were not the prettiest thing to look at. I don't know how well these KEEN boots will hold up after 6 years but if they hold up like the Timberland did, then I'm a KEEN customer for life. I absolutely live these boots. I did order a size larger than I normally wear and I'm glad I did. I don't think I would have liked them being any tighter than they are. Even at a size larger, my feet don't move around inside the boots. ... show more
