A slip- and oil-resistant sole amp up the safety factor. Weighing 23.15 oz / 656 g (per shoe), made with durable, waterproof leather and featuring a moisture-wicking lining. This boot is built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. Need to change out your insoles for orthotic or comfort reasons? No problem – KEEN Utility products offer removable insoles. Very comfortable and flexible

I was looking for a mid-length boot that would stand up to hard pavement, a lot of walking, would feel close to sneakers and not be as restricted as my SWAT combat boots (which are also great) Obviously they have better ankle support and stability compared to sneakers but feel only a bit heavier. I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot and post op complications so I need to wear custom orthotics which make them even better. If you don't have foot problems, you'd do okay with the provided insoles. As expected, these provide a lot more flexibility in the crouching position compared to my 11 hole combat boots and are a bit more breathable. I do prefer to wear my combat boots in the winter and whenever I need to pass thru tall grass or get sidetracked on the woods. The keens are perfect and beat my boots or sneakers for all other circumstances -mowing the lawn, tinkering in garage, shed or basement, crawling around in attic, and working on ladders or a roof. I also like the non slip and electrical insulation soles they provide. I actually got two pairs of keens, one waterproof and one non-waterproof. I was planning to return one but decided to keep them both. I favor the non-waterproof ones a bit more just because they feel a tad bit lighter and more flexible, but maybe that's just me. You can't go wrong with either. I'll be looking to buy another pair in the future when the time comes.

These are great boots. Was looking for something with more airflow to the feet, as a lot of work boots really don’t offer much in that department. These bring in plenty of air flow. Another thing is, they are pretty light compared to other options. Seem pretty durable (time will tell). Over all they are exactly what I was looking for in a work boot!

I have had these boots for over 4 months now. The work I do calls for 3 weeks straight of 10 hour days and includes things like breaking pavement, shoveling rock and mud, pouring concrete both into small pads and hauling buckets of it to fill and dome off big steel bollards. Needless to say, it's strenuous on the feet and also extremely hard on clothes and shoes. Cheap boots get hard on the feet after a few hours and low quality leather does not stand up to the work. All in all, these have been an excellent work boot. I have always really liked the comfort and utility of hiking style boots and these are really the best of both worlds. Pros: -First and foremost, the steel toes. They have an asymetrical design, as in each toe cap is molded to fit either left or right. This is a MAJOR improvement in comfort and general utility over the usual standard shaped toe cap that's in most boots. -On that note. SUPER comfortable right out of the box. No break in period whatsoever. As I mentioned I work very long days on my feet and the comfort provided by these has been a huge deal. -Design: both the tread pattern and the waterproofing are on point, zero complaints. CONS: -The laces. They honestly suck so bad that I ended up replacing them with another brand. Would not stay tied during work and ended up just fraying. I honestly want to subtract a star for it but I'm otherwise happy so I won't. But if you get these and plan on using them heavily just plan on replacing the laces. All in all these are great and I will definitely be buying Keen work boots again for as long as I need steel toed boots.

Great Protection and Comfort

I’ve been wearing the Men’s Lansing Mid Height Steel Toe Waterproof Work Boots for a few weeks now, and overall, they’ve impressed me. The steel toe offers solid protection without feeling overly heavy, and the waterproofing actually holds up in wet conditions, no soggy socks even after long shifts outdoors. The mid-height design gives good ankle support, and the boots were surprisingly comfortable right out of the box with very little break-in time. If I had to point out a couple of drawbacks, the boots run a bit warm on hot days, and the tread, while decent, could offer a little more grip on slick surfaces. Still, for the price and durability, they’re a reliable choice for tough work environments. Overall, these boots deliver great value, comfort, and safety, definitely worth recommending.

Extremely reliable work boots that fit my big feet!

I’ve had these boots for almost a year and I plan on ordering another pair in July. They have been the best boots by far that I’ve used on the job. The wide toe box makes them extremely comfortable for my bigger foot. I work in utility locating and I’ve been through muddy fields, construction sites, and all over chemical and manufacturing plants with them with zero issues. I always use my own inserts in boots but other than that, they have out preformed all other brands of boots I’ve owned. They have stayed completely dry in wet and muddy conditions and have never ripped or fallen apart like other boots I’ve purchased. Genuinely have been the best boots I’ve ever owned. Will continue to wear them and plan to buy another pair because my company reimburses me every year for a new pair. Would recommend them for anyone needing a reliable and comfortable pair of boots that will last for years to come.

Work boots.

This is my 5th pair. Love these work boots. Wear them everyday in all conditions. Composite toe to kick material in place. Great grip on all surfaces, except ice. Good look and hold up well. I get about 9 months before they start to break down. You can put an insert in them to get a few more moths out of them. Two thumbs up.

Good but don’t last
