Description

Long hours, tough jobs, rugged terrain—this boot's got your back. With flexible construction and an oil- and slip-resistant outsole, it keeps you comfortable and safe all day. Weighing 37.9 oz / 1,074 g (per boot), made with full grain, durable, water-resistant leather and featuring a moisture-wicking lining this boot is ready for it all. It should be noted that this style does not include KEEN.DRY waterproof technology but is still water-resistant. The Milwaukee 6” Steel Toe Waterproof Work Boot for men is built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. The Goodyear full welt allows this boot to be resoled whenever the need may arise. KEEN Utility products offer removable insoles. This dependable work boot is great for heavy-duty work in construction, heavy metal fabrication, masonry, energy, railroad and transportation work . All KEEN Utility products use a natural, probiotic-based technology called CleansportNXT for breaking down odor in sweat; while also sourcing leather from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG) which is the gold-standard for responsibly-sourced leather using a closed-loop system to conserve water and energy. KEEN Utility believes in creating work boots that make work and life better. To further support that mission, KEEN Utility has been “Putting Good to Work” through its non-profit partnerships within the Project Build program. From helping put veterans back on their feet to supporting conservation corps work across the country, KEEN Utility puts good to work, first.

  • Best boots I've ever owned
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Earth
This is my second pair. Bought to replace my first pair since they were on sale, but the first pair are still rocking, as you can see in the pictures. I'm breaking in the new pair as back-ups. They were comfortable since the day I first put them on, and become even more comfortable with time. My feet never hurt, or get wet in them. The toe box is nice and wide, yet my feet feel secure in them. The leather is super tough and the outsole rubber very durable. I really like the look too. I see other people having quality issues with them, but my first pair are still in great shape after 2+ years, wearing 48 hours a week as an electrician. I think it's important to get the size that fits you properly to minimize stress on the materials. Anyways, I'll keep buying this boot as long as they're still making them, and the quality stays the same. ... show more

  • Second Pair
The boots are comfortable. I work on my feet as a mechanic. My first pair lasted me two years and are still comfortable. My first pair was factory seconds yet they still held up for two years. The toe is wide enough for my wife feet and true to size. The armored tow is also great when I am working on my knees which has resulted in holes with other boots. The sole will pick up small rocks but have good traction and wear. There is also a defined heal for catching steps and not slipping. I have purchased RedWings, Danners, and off brands and these boots are worth the price. The downside is that they are not made in USA. ... show more

  • My first (of many) pair of Keens
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Earth
Let me preface this review by summing up the rest of the review in three words: These. Things. Rock! I purchased a size 10.5 pair of these Friday, May 8th of this year and selected Saturday delivery, for no other reason than I was excited to get them. They arrived first thing the next morning and I immediately tried them on. I made a trip to Cabela's a week before to try on several pairs of different boots and this was the pair I settled on because they were amazingly comfortable and had awesome amounts of support. They fit just as expected, both at Cabela's and in my living room. My previous pair of steel toes were 6" boots and I believe these are 8", so it took a bit if shoelace adjustment for me to find a comfort zone that allowed me to get the full range of motion in my ankle due to the higher boot height. The good thing is that the top three sets of shoelace eyelets let you almost "lock" the lace in place - meaning you could leave the laces over your foot as loose as you like, tighten the upper ankle laces as tight as you like (or vice versa and anywhere in between) and it'll stay that way! There was a small break in period due to the stiffer, taller uppers, but after about a week of constant wear, I didn't notice any discomfort. I recently sprained my ankle so the extra support is welcome at the moment. I work 6 days a week and I'm on my feet for anywhere between 8-10 hours each day and I feel like I have SO much more energy left at the end of the day with these boots than with my previous set of Timberland Pro's. To be fair to Timberland, my old pair is about one or two years old now and saw the same 6 day work weeks as these boots will. But I don't remember my Tims EVER being this cozy. I work as an industrial/mechanic/research and development tech type position and I'm always climbing, kneeling, squatting, balancing on ledges, crawling around, and even using my steel toes as hammers from time to time. These things have held up perfectly so far (it's only been two weeks). The OTHER reason I purchased this particular pair of work boots was because I was looking for an aggressive tread pattern so that I could also use them as a pair of heavy duty hiking boots. When I tried them on at Cabela's, the tread pattern appeared far beyond any of the others in off-road traction (is this a tire review or ...?) This past Memorial Day weekend (God Bless our Fallen Heroes), I took them camping/hiking for the first time. Our campsite was along a river bank, up a steep, loose dirt hill. Both descending and ascending the hill, I was BLOWN AWAY by how much grip these Keens had!! The incline was beyond 45 degrees, probably closer to 50-ish, and aside from hauling my 200 lb self up a 100% grade, it was a breeze! Even with my sprained ankle at about 80% healed, I could gingerly make it up and down the hill without a single slip. And once we made it down to the river to fill up our water bottles, I decided to try out how waterproof they are. Standing in ankle deep water, my socks were bone dry. After about 3 or 4 minutes of standing in the river, I thought I had a leak, because my feet started to cool off, but it was just temperature of the river water finally making it through the boot. Not a drop made it through! I am VERY VERY pleased with the performance of this boot. I'm not sure I could ask for a better performing boot. The reason I only gave it four stars was because of the looks. They are a bit clunky looking, even for a pair of steel-toed work boots. I'm not a huge fan of the rubber over-toe protection, but I admit this will add more shoe protection and essentially longer life to the shoes. Also, my pair had some extra glue seeping out behind said rubber over-toe, which was a bit unsightly, but again, I'd rather have a little extra glue to make sure the toe will last than have not enough glue and have them fall apart. All in all, these boots are heavenly. I'm not a trend-setter anyways, so the aesthetics of the boot don't bother me very much, especially with the performance of these things. My recommendation? BUY BUY BUY. Thanks Keen! I'll be seeing you again soon! ... show more

  • Awsome boots
Size: 9 Color: Dark Earth
Sad to see they are being discontinued, these boots last me a year of daily hard use as a delivery driver being in and out the trailer up and down the ramp and going miles a day. Very comfortable and long lasting. Hopefully I can find a pair to replace these. They will be missed.

Very well boot, I worked in the oil field during that current time I have tried wrist, twisted x, I currently haul Fuel I have tried multiple boots they have each gotten distinguished from the gas and diesel, ate up very quit, I’ve switched to keen and have lasted 10x longer and get my moneys worth from them.
