  • Angelic Choir
Size: 11.5 Wide Color: Slate Black
I have long been a fan of KEENs products since I worked at a boy scout camp many years ago when I was made to borrow some sandals from my family. I fell in love in an instant. Since then I have purchased many of this company’s shoe products and now I purchased these boots. I know that the factory in Heaven where these boots were crafted from the manifested power of an angelic choir with the sole purpose of protecting feet from even the heaviest object. My only wish is that my mere mortal flesh could experience KEEN shoes long into eternity. ... show more

This work shoe is comfortable base on my daily operations, it has being on all day and the liner and insoles are very comfortable and it’s very masculine too. I also have a timberland pro but the keen is my favorite

  • Good boot for the money.
Size: 10.5 Color: Slate Black
These were a good work boot that survived 51 weeks of abuse dished out by a 185 pound guy toting a 40lb tool backpack plus tool belt all day. The roomy toe box lets my feet spread out as they expand throughout the day which is unlike my previous steel toed Thorogoods. No blisters or hot spots in my feet until just before their retirement. i had to replace the insoles at 6 months and got the moderate arch support Keen ones which I feel are part of the reason these boots lasted as long as they did. I burned up the laces early due to welding spatter but the synthetic material surprisingly did not show any signs of heat damage. I would buy these again and may yet do so if the price drops back down. I replaced them with Keen Cincinnatis only because of the price. ... show more

  • So far not so good :/
Size: 9.5 Color: Slate Black
Update 6/17/15 - Okay - in a better place now and have upgraded my review to 3 stars because Keen did come through and is replacing the boots. I heard back from Keen yesterday and they provided me with a coupon for a new pair of boots and the person that reached out to me was very helpful. Glad to see that Keen stood behind their product. Update 6/9/15 - I finally called customer services and they told me that I should just work the claim through Amazon as it would be faster than waiting on them. I indicated I didn't see how this was Amazon's fault because of a material defect in the boot and they said it didn't really matter it would still be quicker just to work it through Amazon. The person on the phone at Keen was pretty much as unhelpful as she could possibly be. She said that they would put my warranty claim on hold until I reached out to Amazon which I told them I wasn't going to do and she then reiterated well we'd suggest you work this through Amazon. Update 6/7/15 - well several weeks in of periodically wearing these boots and I still can't get the darn things broken in. Maybe I just got a lemon. I think I found the culprit though - unlike several of my other pair of boots these have a stitch seam right in the center of the back of your heal and I think that the stitching is what is digging into my foot. I'm going to give them another week or two and if not broken in they are probably headed to the trash can. At this point they look pretty messy just from mud around the house so I would feel bad sending them back. Oh, and in regards to the warranty claim for the bad stitching on the tongue, we are now 3 weeks in and not a single word from Keen. On their website it is still saying in process. Due to the lack of responsiveness and issues with the boot I'm going from my generous 2 stars down to 1. Will reassess if/when I hear back. Based on the previous reviews I really wanted to like these boots but so far I have not been impressed. On the second day of wearing the boots the tongue stitching has started to separate resulting in about a 1.5 in gap between the leather and the waterproof backing I was able to re-stitch it until I could work the warranty claim through Keen but not something to expect to do on a pair of new boots. I submitted the warranty claim to Keen one week ago as of the date of this review and I've yet to hear anything back which doesn't bode well for this customer service experience. With all that said, my biggest gripe is actually the long break in period. I've owned many Red Wings, Wolverines, Chippewas, Danners, etc. and so far the break in on these has been the longest and most painful. The first day I wore them for about 2 hours to hang tree stands and didn't take any other boots with me - huge mistake. By the end of the two hours I could barely walk and actually debated going barefoot - no joke. Had a bad blister from that experience and couldn't wear them for about 3 days. The next several times I wore them was just to walk the dog for about 15-20min at a time which has actually helped. I'm about 2.5 weeks in and they are now actually wearable. I push mow my yard which takes about an hour and made it through that today with no real problem. Also, it isn't like I was wearing bad socks - I only wear Darn Tough socks with my boots which are some of the best socks out there in my opinion. The boots do have some redeeming factors assuming I may have gotten a dud on the stitching. They are light weight which will be nice once they are fully broken in. The tread is pretty aggressive and seems to do fine on wet grass and mud which is nice. The leather seems to be of good quality and is actually pretty soft which should have resulted in a quicker break in but for some reason didn't. Appearance is good. ... show more

  • Quality lasting boots
Size: 12 Color: Slate Black
These boots are some of the longest lasting and more comfortable boots I've owned. This is my third pair that I've owned although the first pair was different. I've had a problem with all of the pairs the tongue not lining up, the hooks for the shoe laces being to tight and fragile. The tongue issue is a bit uncomfortable for me but not a big deal. The hooks where you have to lace it up is a major problem with me. I can't stand sitting and fiddling for a lot longer than what it should take to tie your shoe strings. They are so tight that you have to push down in certain areas and pull extremely hard in order for them to go through the hooks. On my last pair of boots I tried prying the hook up to free the tension on it and the metal just broke so beware of this. ... show more

No es igual a la foto de la publicación. El cuero es corrugado en todos lados cuando en la foto no es así. Y es muy trompuda la punta del zapato. De resto todo bien.
