  • Keen Ft Wayne Boots: A Winner!
Size: 9.5 Color: Dark Earth/Gum
I'm retired and in my 60's and I have to say, hands down these are the most comfortable pair of work shoes I've EVER worn, in fact among the most comfortable of all the shoes I own. Broke right in, true to size, they wear lighter than their weight, great support and cushion all day and no hot spots. I really like the composite safety toe, a great happy medium. My feet are kind of wide at the toes but I buy medium width with Keens. Adequate width and nice, snug heel. I actually look forward to pulling these things on in the morning. I'm not as hard on these as an all day construction or line worker, but I'm not easy on them, either. Will definitely buy again when this pair wears out! ... show more

  • Comfort, sturdiness
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: Dark Earth/Gum
Just got these today, out of the box I noticed how lightweight the boot felt. Not 100% sure how they achieved it, I know it has the carbon fiber toe protection but once on the feet they felt very sturdy as my keens of the past have felt. I wear 9.5 ee and let me tell you there is plenty of room in the toe box, and the overall fit felt snug, but is breaking in quickly. The keen utility inserts felt fine, however, I have flat feet and require extra anterior, posterior and arch support. I quickly switched the inserts with my PCS inserts and they now fit like a glove with the support that I specifically need. Overall 9/10 so far. Will update after some time after seeing how they hold up. I am very hard on boots and will know in a month or two if these are going to hold up. Hopefully it makes the list of boots that last me more than 3-6 months. ... show more

  • The jury is still out
Size: 13 Color: Dark Earth/Gum
Familiar comfortable Keen fit with large toe box, check. Good looks and apparent quality of materials and workmanship, check. Still low mileage but two rather annoying issues so far. One is the fold on the side of the boot tongue pushes on the front my left medial malleolus when walking which is rather painful. Two is worked outside on a steep incline and the heel area on the back is very stiff with little padding on the inside, very uncomfortable with toes pointing up and heel pushing against the boot. Hope these issues will disappear with break in as I like the boots overall. ... show more

  • Warm and very comfortable
I’m a finish carpenter, and I’m always searching for the best work apparel. In the colder months I usually switch to wearing boots and these are great so far. They are warm, comfortable, safe, and non-marking. Having the gum colored trim and non-marking sole on these boots is great for all those times you’re on your knees, keeping the floor from getting all marked up. And most importantly, considering these boots are safety toe, they are very comfortable when bending the foot. Most safety toed boots are not this comfortable when bending the foot. Keen really got it right so far with these work boots when it comes to what I need them for. ... show more

  • Hands down the best boot for your money
Size: 12 Color: Dark Earth/Gum
I’ve always favored Keen just due to the fact that it’s a pretty decent boot for a decent price. Pay less and you always get a crap boot, pay similar and it’s not as good as keen, pay more and you’re always questioning if it was worth it. I bought this style boot 6 months ago because it was the only one available. I’m a heavy duty diesel mechanic that gets WRECKED in oil and diesel fuel every day. I’ve had boots only last me 2 weeks before, but never more than 4-5 months. These boots have taken it and just keep going for over 6 months. No tears, no worn soles, still comfortable as ever. Changing the laces now and buying another pair for whenever they do finally wear out. 6 months and going strong. Just buy the boot. ... show more

  • Bad product. Lasted 3 months
Size: 10 Color: Dark Earth/Gum
Was really enjoying the boots. Comfortable BUT falling apart after 3 months. Bad product. Leather split where it meets the sole. The amount of money spent, boots should last! Don’t waste your money.

  • Great summer boots
Size: 9.5 Color: Dark Earth/Gum
I got these boots a couple weeks ago and loved them so much I thought about buying a second pair right away. A great price, comfortable, looked good and all that. Today it snowed, I fell once and I’ve been sliding around all day. Terrible traction, they might be the slipperiest boots I’ve ever worn. Now I need to purchase a pair of winter boots, I’ll save these for summer. ... show more

  • New favorite
Size: 10.5 Color: Dark Earth/Gum
I was worried about ordering these to replace my previous work boots, but took the gamble. At first I thought my worries were correct because of the pain I was getting on break-in, but it only took about a week to have these all broke in unlike the 2-4 weeks it was taking with the previous manufacturer that I used to wear. Now they are extremely comfortable, I’m thinking about getting some of their hiking boots for everyday wear now ... show more
