Update June 1, 2025 ————sole of the boot is separating Lighter weight than regular keens. Fit great! Didn’t take too long to break in! Comfortable just like the hiking boots! Definitely will get again! Hopefully they will last! Seem to be made well! I will update you! I put arches in them because I have plantar fasciitis. Style is nice, but they are work boots! Haven’t slipped with them!

I work in an industrial setting and am on my feet all day (12 hr shifts), sometimes in areas that have slip potential. These shoes are pretty great support and grip. Solid steel and composite toes in this brand. Where I've heard fellow employees working the wash booth saying if I didn't get actual like rain boots I would be replacing mine in a couple of months, however its usually a little over a year. My dad also loves this brand, even though he's retired he's very active still and come Christmas it's good present. It's also nice to know that I'm giving him something that helps provide comfort, as those who've worked labour extensive jobs having the right pair of shoes on your feet makes all the difference!

KEEN Boots - This particular Coburg model boot is a well-made foot tool. I have purchased this boot 3 years in a row. My real opinion: not a paid for promotion. I put boots through the real-world life test. The boot is light for a steel toe. Arch & footpad support is good. There is a bump pad for the ankles. Lots of support when laced up firm. The Hook & Lace eyes are strong and easy to work. The waterproof membrane is a great feature and works well. The tongue is padded and has gussets to prevent water ingress. The abrasion resistance material is great if you are a tradesman and in rough service applications. The boot is comfortable with good insoles; replace after 6 months with another pair of quality insoles. The 8" boot is my preference as they add a lot of ancle support. Fit is True to sizing chart. I wear a wide boot which is sometimes hard to find. I'm very tough on footwear & I wear these boots 90% of the time, usually in them 14-16 hours a day 21 days out of a month. They last me about a year and are still in decent shape but do show wear. I usually buy a new pair as I can tell they've done their time. However, they still have more life in them. In general, this is a good work boot. It has a lot of good features and is tough to beat. Buy you a pair and see how they work out for you.

I love the foot-bed of these shoes. I love that they are manufactured in the United States of America. The natural semi-square toe does NOT pinch your toes together. This makes for a longer life to the shoe, and a more natural shape for your foot. These are very comfortable as a result of this shape. They do have a steel toe, they are water proof as new, and water resistant after long use. You can repair the sole, and rubber parts on the sides with "Goop" glue, when they wear and split, and it holds up very well, extending the usable life of these boots and making them a better value. They have a very thick padded ankle, tongue, and high ankle. The catches, (Lugs), for the upper are solid brass, and very sturdy. The lugs are tight and do wear on the shoe laces, causing shorter life for your laces, but you can always find nice para-cord laces to replace them, and the para-cord laces will out last the boots. I buy 2 pair at a time in order to allow them to dry completely between wearings, and this has made, (along with the use of the "Goop"), the last two pair I purchased last almost 3 years of daily wear. Highly recommended. I will continue to purchase and use these until I find something better.... Which I simply have not been able to locate.

Just bought these boots on Jan 8 2025 and the sole has already detached from the boot. Very disappointed. I’ll have to glue the sole back on to get my moneys worth. Would not recommend. Is there a warranty?
