Easy to install - Well, with a little added assistance - yes. The adhesion could be better even after using 3-M adhesion promoter. To remedy that I used a heat gun and some black RTV silicone to seal the edges and insure a tight leak free bond. Overkill perhaps but it succeed. Other than that it's good to go.

This is my third roll of this product. I started to cut to required lengths for the application. Midroll, I found the material to be severed although the protective film was intact. Clearly a production fault. In any case, this roll is useless for my application.

I thought this would have a strong self adhesive and I could just stick it onto my kayak keel. But it was barely sticky, smelled bad (like cigarette ashtray) and can only lay flat… too stiff to conform to kayak keel at front and rear contact points. Can only be applied with a marine adhesive in any case.
