I have been looking fora wooden cutting board since I have read about all the plastic people are exposed to with the plastic cutting boards. This one is great. It’s bamboo, very well made. It says it is dish washer safe, However I have hand washed mine. It is very easy to wash my hand. Nice finish, very easy to cut on. I have nod had any problems with damage to it even using my sharp knives.it is a good size for cutting vegetables, etc. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This cutting board slips and slides all over the place, making it almost useless for routine cutting. (we have marble and steel countertops). It is a shame because this bamboo material is hard, there are no cracks, no splitting. they recommend getting a towel (or a wet towel) out each time you want to use it put the towel under the cutting board, and that will reduce its sliding around. EDIT: The company very kindly contacted me and sent me their nonslip pad 2.0 it’s a nice looking small silicone pad fits exactly under the cutting board and at 100% stop sliding of the cutting board! What this adjustment I’ve now adjusted my rating to five stars. The pad is easy to clean under running water, very small and easy to tuck in the side of a drawer. It’s much better even than the companies Cloverleaf corner holders. My one point would be do not over oil the back of your board, the oil has to be all dry or else it won’t grip the silicone mat. Also, just a fellow users, this seems like a very nice very concerned family Run business, I would recommend not washing your board in the dishwasher: it cleans off so easily with a little soap and water, and even the best cutting board seems to get warped and cracked in a dishwasher ... show more

This cutting board turned out to be smaller than I expected – but that’s on me for not double-checking the dimensions beforehand. It’s well-made, sturdy, and not too heavy, which makes it easy to handle and store. After a few uses, there are some knife marks visible, but that’s pretty standard for any cutting board. I’m planning to rub a little cooking oil on it, and let it air dry as part of regular maintenance ( this was on the weekly care pamphlet that comes with the board) though I haven’t done that yet. ... show more
