I'm really glad I found this case. It looks so elegant, it doesn't smudge, and the edge feels smooth when opening my laptop. My previous case showed every fingerprint, the edges were rough, and it cost almost as much as this one. I wasn't looking for a soft outer zipper case, but I'm very happy to have this one for extra protection. Don't purchase a cheap case when you can order one of these!

I bought this for my MacBook Air 13 A2337 to have a light weight case for traveling and am happy with the purchase. The clam shell plastic case clicks on to the top and bottom pretty easily and don’t add much weight. The Walnut wood is what O was looking for. I did deduct one star because the item is not exactly as advertised: it does not have the Apple imprint/watermark on the top of the case as shown on the Amazon description, and the zippers on the carrying case are black, not chrome as shown. Neither is a big enough issue for me to return the item as I am otherwise happy with it and otherwise would have given it five stars. Just know that it won’t be exactly what is shown on the item page - See the pictures I uploaded (which shows the screen protector installed as well). The provided keyboard cover fits the keyboard exactly, however it does make the keys very dark so I’m not sure if I will be keeping it on.

I am extremely happy with this cover. I was skeptical of the design as I thoigh it might be low quality or Pixelmator, it is not. Very nice wood pattern. The fit on the laptop itself is perfect. Firm and tight, with clips to secure in place. Other covers I've had unsnap easily or don't snap at all. This cover is stylish and secure. I even used my dremel tool to etch my name small on the front. It looks great!

Pros: Lightweight Easy fit (when compatible) Protects from scratches Snug fit Matching set Includes screen protector Includes a flexible matching keyboard cover Price is great Cons: Sleeve fits “too” perfectly (not much space with laptop inside) Everything I own is plain basic black. So, when I got my MacBook Air, I wanted to add a little color to my life. Which lead to this purchase. It’s definitely cute, depending on tastes, I’m just not sure it will protect from much more than scratches. That’s ok for most people, because most people aren’t as clumsy as I am. I’ll start with what I love. It’s super lightweight, almost to the point of thinking it’s very flimsy. It could be, but once on the laptop, you don’t notice it too much. I think that anything you could do to it while ON the laptop that would break the cover, would also break the laptop, so probably should try to avoid that anyway. It pops right on within seconds (when compatible and aligned correctly). It will be very good in protecting from minor, everyday use scratches, and it doesn’t “wiggle” much when all tabs are snapped into place. If a case like this one wiggles, it’s pointless to have it on because the case itself will scratch whatever it’s covering. I don’t see this being an issue here. It’s pretty much a matching set. I say pretty much, because the top cover is glittery and therefore looks like a different shade of pink than the sleeve, but I don’t think it’s too much of a contrast. It’s really good that it includes a screen protector, but I just don’t feel like fighting with it to install. The keyboard cover lines up perfectly, has a tiny cutout for the light on the board and just lays on top for easy install. The set would truly be perfect for me, if the sleeve had more space, because as you can see in my photo, the laptop charger basically takes up most of the space. Might be able to get a few pens or highlighter in there with the charger, but certainly not a mouse or trackpad. If you don’t carry those things, you won’t have the slightest issue, and if you carry it in a book bag, you can always carry the charger separately of the laptop/sleeve. So, the only con for me, may not matter to anyone else.

The soft carrying case will not hold anything else (well, maybe the charging cable only) if your computer is in it. I don’t have a touchscreen so I didn’t apply the screen protector - I can’t stand them. The clip on cover is decent and very thin so if you’re looking for to protect your computer from scratches, I feel like this is enough. However, it is not clear like the image would suggest. You cannot see through it and is more of a milky white. The image of the purple flower is accurate and is very pretty. It looks like it is part of the plastic and not a pixelated picture that was blown up. I don’t plan on taking my computer to many places (or at all or even very often) so I feel that for just around the house, such as the bedroom or the living room, the case on the computer is sufficient and the carrying bag is a good spot for it to stay when not in use. It’s pretty but this is something that is for someone who does not travel with their computer and needs protection. If you were to drop it or leave it in a suitcase on an airplane I would be concerned about damage to your computer. Edited to add: with the covers on the computer it now no longer fully closes. It’s bothersome to me but doesn’t interfere with the function of the computer.
