I have lived through the evolution of cell phones. From the early car briefcases to the clunky flips to the sleek smart phones and now the foldables. I love my ZFold5 and no longer use a phone enough to keep up with regular model updates. When the center of my TPU inner screen protector started lifting, wrinkling, and making crackling noises when folding, I started looking at new phones and realized I didn't want to pay for a new phone when mine still functioned. But I winced at past memories of trying to replace screen protectors - bubbles, misaligned - it never seemed to come out right. So I turned to Google and found that you could replace the inner screen protector and not only that, they now had kits that did everything but stick it on the phone for you! This kit was amazing. First you put down a rubber anti-skid mat and then put down a plastic tray that conforms exactly to the shape of the phone (with cutouts for the cameras). Rip the old TPU screen protector off (push a fingernail under the center and work along the edge to loosen a corner and slowly pull it off). Note, any phone cause you have added needs to be removed. Take this opportunity to use alcohol wipes, etc to completely clean the outside of your phone (dust, old adhesive, etc). Some of the Zfold Samsung cases are held on with double sided tape. Removing the case might destroy the tape, but it will not hurt the phone or the case. Just use some alcohol wipes and the adhesive remains will come off both the phone and the case. Have some double sided adhesive ready if you need it (I think I used 3mm wide tape - I have the Samsung brand case with the stylus pen built in the back, not the spine). The phone slots perfectly into the tray. Use the included wipes and soft microfiber cloths to completely clean the face of your phone. The new TPU screen protector snaps on to guide posts on the tray ensuring a perfect alignment. There are detailed instructions along with a QRC code for a video instruction (very helpful). You lift one side of the new screen protector at a 120 deg angle (the center is split) and use the included hard plastic spatula (one edge is cushioned) and push the screen protector across the phone. Next, lift the other side and smooth it across making sure to flatten any bubbles in the middle. Finally, you attach one of the removal stickers to a corner and then lift off the TPU screen protector cover and you are done. There were very few bubbles and those disappeared by the next morning. The TPU film stuck firmly and due to the guide posts there is no need to struggle with alignment. My stylus just glides beautifully now! The only complaint I have had is some stactic, the screen protector attracting dust, this should subside with time. At ~$20, the kit is more expensive than most, including only one inner and one outer TPU screen protector and no camera covers. However, you also get the anti-slip mat, alignment tray (works for inner and outer screen protector replacement), four screen cleaner wipes, two small microfiber cloths, stickers to remove dust, spatula, and tapes to remove the final cover off of the TPU screen protector. But, most importantly, it works and is of a high quality. As you can see in the picture, it is perfectly smooth with only a couple tiny bubbles remaining and some dust due to static. ... show more

    • Carcked down the middle
I liked the ease of use of placing item however I could not get all the bubbles out and after a week the middle started to crack and started to flake. It also has an increase in bubbles the more I open and close the screen. Not worth the price do not buy.

    • Get this one! Spend for quality results
This is the one! I have tried to use the other inner screen protectors and I have had terrible results. Bubbles, not sticking, bad application in spite of my best efforts. This one was awesome, I followed the directions and it went just like the video! No Bubbles, the zfold feels like new again, the hinge seems much smoother. Awesome quality product. Update after just a few days - I can't believe how smooth the hinge feels now, I actually ordered another phone but this one feels like it could easily last another year or more. Whatever plastic they use for the inner liner seems to perfectly match the factory original and I have a new appreciation for how critical that is for this complicated hinge system. I have ZERO bubbles and especially at the hinge, which is far more critical to long folding life than I realized. I failed many times with previous kits and I thought it was just my not being precise, if I can have this great result so can you. Buy this kit and restore your phone properly. Update: After several weeks my z-fold 5 is like new, I had actually bought another zfold because I thought my old one would break it's screen. Instead, it works perfectly. I realize if you get proper attachment the glass and hinge work the way they should. Bubbles are death, this kit allowed me to put it on perfectly. I think I had couple of very tiny bubbles at first but they are gone now and this is just like factory now. ... show more

Easiest install ever for a screen protector! Please watch the instructional video. So far so good, I have no complaints but will update my review if the screen protector doesn't last or begins to peel as some have said.

    • Very poor quality product
Very poor quality screen protectors. Within 2 days, the large protector began showing cracks on the inner fold part of my phone. Within another 5 days of that happening, the protector began cracking and lifting away from the lower part of the big screen. The smaller front protector started lifting away in the upper right corner of the front phone screen. I'm very disappointed in this company's product. ... show more

    • Well designed; easy to execute
This product is well thought out and makes it easy to install the screen protector. The "jig" along with the nonskid pad makes the Fold 4 secure and not easy to accidentally move around. The alignment tabs are perfect and removes that whole issue of misalignment from the table. The video and instructions are clear. The inner screen protector goes on easily and shows no problem conforming to screen "crease". A few very small bubbles were present at the edges. Some could be pushed out, others could not. It remains to be seen whether they will disappear or disperse like with screen protectors that use a water lubricant. (This screen protector is not lubricated with water.) The bubbles however are not a real distraction. However I have a few suggestions. The product would be more competitive if it included two protectors in each package so if someone makes a mistake or just has some bad luck. With a phone this expensive you don't want to wait for another screen protector to be shipped in. In addition, there are no holes for the in-screen cameras often used for selfies. Finally there are no instructions for removing the original screen protector. I would suggest at least show it being done in the video. All in all my initial assessment is that this is a very good product and I would buy it again. I hope KCT makes one soon for the Pixel Fold which does not apparently come with screen protectors and will likely be my next phone. ... show more
