This golden-green toned EVOO in the Glass Spray bottle has a fruity bouquet of almonds and pear from the Koroneiki olive. It is balanced in taste with a smooth, enduring aftertaste. The Terra Creta Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes in a safe, glass bottle with a specially-designed spray, allowing better control when used in the kitchen. In 2009, Terra Creta Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the spray bottle, received the 1st prize for "Best packaging" and "Innovative products" at a Greek competition during the Elaiotechnia 09 exhibition in Athens. Terra Creta still uses traditional harvesting methods where farmers lay large, rectangular nets under the trees and use slender, hand-held poles about the size of a broom handle, to gently loosen the olives allowing them to fall into the nets below. This provides sustainability for the trees and reliability to farmers for generations to come. But Terra Creta uses a unique, technologically advanced and efficient olive oil mill that can process olives into olive oil within 45 minutes of receiving the olives at the mill. Since the olives are processed the same day they are harvested, the oil remains very low in acidity and retains its health benefits and distinctive taste.
