    • Best installation I've seen, decent privacy, does impact brightness

First off, I've been struggling to put on screens for years: prior to this I could never seem to get it exactly right. There was always a bubble or slight misalignment that would irk me, but this system works great. The instructions on the video are super clear and easy to follow, and the first install went on without issue in seconds. Overall the adhesion is great and there's no impact to the touch screen. The only criticism I have is the overall brightness of the privacy screen and visibility from an angle. I've seen other products that have a slight more privacy-centric viewing angle. This one is pretty visible at a 40° angle for me, which if that's what you're looking for is great. In order to read the screen properly, however, I needed to up the brightness, which in turn does make the battery wear out a bit sooner. Not the end of the world, but that's the only reason for taking a star off the overall review. Given the opportunity to purchase again, I probably would purchase the non-privacy version given the overall viewing angle and impact to brightness. ... show more

The installation was rather easy and there were some bubbles that I got most out already. My problem is with the screen protector covering the front camera. Now my Face ID works half the time. So far I’m very happy with this screen protector. The one I originally bought for my phone was terrible…it had a flimsy frame that was hard to align and I ended up with bubbles around the edges. When I dropped the phone and it cracked I wanted to find a replacement I could easily install myself. This one has a sturdy cover you snap on and then following the directions it’s hard to mess up. They even provide a QR code linked to a step-by-step step video that shows you exactly how to do it. I was at first hesitant to remove my old screen protector but it came off fairly easily and the cleaning kit they provided made it a breeze to prep the surface for the new one. After installation I can say I love the privacy features and it’s much easier to scroll on this than it was with my old one. This one just glides. I like this products security feature. I also dig the included application bracket. What I am not currently digging is the durability of the first screen and the adhesion of the second I placed on my second day of owning this particular brand. The first day's screen was noticeably cracked at the end of the day and I do not remember dropping the phone. If I did, then the protector did its thing. The second screen, although smooth was the install, has 3 areas on it that haven't stuck well to the screen even though I followed all instructions. Maybe they will go away on their own. I tried to push them out with the included hard cardboard blade, but nothing happened. I will adjust star rating as the days go on. ... show more
