The chair is nicely padded and has a plush feel. My only issue was that the reclining function only locked at 90. I tried to return it through Amazon, but the shipping label was to a China address. Amazon customer service contacted the seller to request a US return address. The seller contacted me to try to understand and address my concern. They agreed to send me a prepaid US return label. Subsequently, I was emailed that the return label was delayed. I was given any option to get a discount on the purchase price. My response was that I really wanted an adjustable reclining chair. I said I’d be willing to wait for a label. The next day, they responded that they would give me a full refund. Also, that I could keep the chair.     • Comfortable chair no neck support
This is a very comfortable chair and both of my 20+ year old sons loved it. It took over an hour to assemble it, at a steady leisurely pace. Once assembled my sons tried it out and loved it. I tried it and found that I have to arch my back and neck, backwards in order to make contact with the headrest. Obviously this is highly uncomfortable, so I have had to purchase a separate neck pillow from another company. Waiting for that to arrive now. The arm rests are detachable, but need to be secured with the screws provided, otherwise they fall off. Which means that you either choose to have no arm rests or ones that are attached. There are chrome inserts on the arm rests which look very nice, unfortunately since I prefer to have the armrests attached to the chair, these chrome inserts have to be removed to allow for the screw fitment. The fitment protrudes slightly and does not allow the chrome inserts to fit back into the arm. I also chose to purchase separate wheels for the chair from another company. I didn't have to, since the chair comes with the standard type castors, which in a regular office would be more than adequate. However, this chair is sitting on standard carpet and the wheels that I have used instead are able to glide over the carpet easily. So, all in all, the chair is strong, generally well constructed, my sons found it to be very comfortable, though for me, my upper back and neck prefer to differ. On the bright side, it is a great chair for the money. Stitching, depth of cushion, lumbar area all seem ergonomic. I am 5 ft 9 inches. My feet just contact the floor in the chair's lowest position. My sons are 6ft 2 and 3 inches, they have no trouble with squarely placing their feet on the floor. However, I am using an old computer desk that has a raised base that I can put my feet on, likely 2 inches off the floor and this solves my problem. It is a quality chair, just having to tweak it to suit me. Hope this helps? ... show more

Chair is very easy to assemble, excellent quality at this price point. I'm 6'2 285 and it fits me like a glove. Having only a 30" inseam it's hard to find a chair with a tall enough back to give me support. P.S. very easy to doze off in!

This chair came delivered in a box that looked like it had been opened allready, then taped back up. Upon opening, i quickly discovered that the seat base with the control levers, had been damaged. Seeing that the chair still functions, i chose to not return it. I would loved to have the option for them to just send me a replacement part, but that was not an option. Assembly was easy, even tho there were bolts missing.(i had to improvise with my own). Good chair. Just bad packaging and no way to get replacement parts. ... show more

Box arrived very beat up along with partial punctures where it looks like the chair legs may have pushed outward on the box due to shifting, as I started assembling I uncovered one of the adjuster arms for rise and tilt mechanisms had a broken paddle on the arm and now it’s to sharp to use. Chair appears to be great other than can’t use the one adjuster without taping up the end ... show more

Sure wish the chair had more padding in the seat. he one reason I did buy it was it showed springs in the seat I did not notice much of the springs when I received it. It was nice to have a chair that you could adjust the lumbar some. I put a back massage in the back and it made the chair that much more comfortable thru the day. It’s sturdy and comfortable. I’m using it for my home office. The only thing is it lacks the lumbar support, so I had to order a back seat cushion for around $30 to take care of my back/ posture. Overall a great chair. It leans back quite a bit if you want to nod off. Just a tip for future users, when you assemble it, take much heed to Step 8’s instructions: Do NOT tighten the bolts fully (yet). I didn’t pay attention to that step and fully with tightened them to the point that one of the bolt heads was rounded/ stripped. Fortunately I had tightened it so much that I was able to still place the cap over it. ... show more

Husband loves it! He is 5’4” but he likes a little big office chair especially now that he wfh most of the time, he likes crossing his legs and tucked on his chair. This chair is perfect for that. He said this chair is very comfortable for him.
