Ordered a queen in this murphy bed and it seems pretty solid, surprisingly! I highly recommend you put it together in the room that it’s going to be in, because once you put it together it’s impossible to pick up. It’s heavy! I initially put it together in another room to have more space, but quickly learned that I was going to have to put some sliders underneath it to get it anywhere else! This is not something one person should assemble alone. Two people is a must. The order of assembly on some of the parts almost requires somebody holding a piece while another screws it in. Was pleasantly surprised to see how big the bottom drawer is. There’s definitely enough space to hold a comforter, two pillows and a sheet set. I wasn’t really sure initially when looking at the photos if it was big enough, but it is. ... show more

Very happy with our purchase. It took a day and a half to assemble but the directions were clear and easy to understand. When assembling the bed it is important to make yourself familiar with the wood parts and hardware. Follow the directions and you shouldn’t have a problem. Went together with easy instructions. BUT, some drawbacks to note... 1. Drawer guides are flimsy, and pop off tract easily 2. Mattress will not fit into boxed area for storage. 3. Wheels are small and do not work on carpet, so we are finding ourselves having to buy floor product to rig this to roll out. ... show more
