I tested this little umbrella out a few times on vacation. Since it's either rainy or sunny where we were going, I wanted to get an umbrella that could protect from the sun and rain but be super compact for carrying around. When wrapped up this is smaller than a soda bottle which was amazing since it fit inside a belt bag/fanny bag. This was an absolute game changer for sun protection, it is large enough for one person and was a few degrees cooler under it easily. I saw a few people say this was not easy to hold but since this is a compact umbrella, it has almost no handle and holding it by the pole is just something your going to have to do, even for small handed people. It did rain and I will have to say, this can not hold up in a storm. The bars that open and shut the umbrella are not strong enough to keep this open in wind. Light rain this can definitely hold up and will keep you dry, but nothing with too much wind. This really is a great umbrella for one thats compact and easy for travel, so if your looking for a little vacation umbrella this is for you! ... show more

This is a nice, compact umbrella. I didn’t expect the cover for it. It is perfect for my purse. I do t think I’ll be able to close it all up quickly but I do love it.

I don't use an umbrella often but wanted a small one to keep in my car just incase. I ordered this umbrella in pink and it adds a nice pop of color to the umbrella, especially during a dismal day. The umbrella is really compact, the smallest I've ever owned, which is nice for keeping in your car, in your bag, or carrying on a rainy day. The umbrella is easy to open and close even without a button, and its lightweight so I can easily carry it for a long time. UV protection isn't something I thought to look for in an umbrella, but I'm always pleased with extra features. Unfortunately, despite coming in a protective wrapper, the cover of this compact travel umbrella had a stain on it. For me that makes this umbrella completely unusable. I would be embarrassed to take this umbrella out of my bag at work or in a social situation with a stain like this on the cover. The manufacturer needs to have better quality control in either their manufacturing plant or their shipping facility. What a complete disappointment! ... show more
