This hoist pulley system includes heavy-duty nylon straps to keep watercraft up to 125lbs secure and rubber-coated hooks to prevent scratches. An innovative automatic locking brake allows one person to safely raise and lower items alone by pinching the rope with each pull. This carrier is worth it’s weight in gold. It assembled in about 30 seconds, all you have to do is put the wheels on with two clip pins. It’s easy to carry on your kayak as well. I recently took this down to a river, down an asphalt path, and no more dragging the kayak and ruining the bottom. You put the kayak on top of this carrier secured with a strap and easily walk to your destination. Make sure you look at the bottom of your kayak to make sure this fits. I purchased it for my pelican catch mode 110 and it would not hold it up because of the shape.

My new kayak is very long and heavy and I hurt myself getting it to the water and back by myself so my husband ordered this product. It was pretty simple to assemble and it works perfectly for getting my kayak from one place to another. I can even load it into the back of my truck alone with this.

People have commented that this does not have pneumatic tires. Indeed, it does not. But the tires it has are fine, and I like them better. They work well and you don't have to worry about inflating them. Others have mentioned that the strap that comes with this is too small. This is also true. But you can get another strap at Harbor Freight and double the length of the strap that comes with it and then it works fine. The manufacturer should have included a longer strap, or two straps, but this seems like no big deal. It works fine for my double kayak and seems well made. ... show more
