over all its not bad. the adjustable shelf that was part of my decision to buy this one is non existent. program instructions leave a lot to be desired. after a half a dozen tries I figured it out. when it says hold button for 1 sec just tap it.

I tried a different safe from same price range before trying this. When compared both, I was extremely satisfied with this for it's better build quality and sturdiness. The safe has ample space inside and adjustable shelves are a plus. In my case the requirement was to store some valuables away from kids. Was not so worried about water-proof or theft. However to my surprise, when testing things I found the security alarm speaker had a really low volume issue. Opened a support case and they were prompt in response and offered me few resolution options. Since I liked the build quality, I did not want to return, rather they offered to send replacement parts to try first. Just had to switch the speaker, plug-and-play and WOLLAH!     • Exhausting to set up!

My safe came quickly, wrapped extremely well and with all of the parts. Set up was confusing and the alarm kept going off. After a good 15 minutes or so I finally got the codes set up. If you decide (like me) that you don’t want to bolt it down you need to know it is very front heavy and tips over very easily! I had to put my ankle weights inside towards the back to keep it steady. The final problem I had was with the cheap plastic pieces to hold the shelves on. There’s a bit of a learning curve to get them in correctly and the little plastic knobs all broke so hopefully the shelf supports will work without those. I only wanted 1 shelf (it comes with 2). I was going to buy a fireproof/waterproof safe but felt this would fit my needs fine since I have fire safe bags. I’m glad it isn’t TOO heavy because I wouldn’t be able to move it around if it was. I just wish they could counter that front weight so I don’t have to take up space with my weights. Now that everything is put together and set up I am glad to have it and don’t plan on messing with it a lot. It is worth the cost if you’re willing to spend a good 30 minutes for set-up and can bolt ii or weigh down the bottom. ... show more

I contacted them regarding an issue with the safe (battery option stopped working after 1 month). Took a few attempts to contact with multiple methods (they made me realize they were on holiday). Almost a week to resolve, but the rep did a good job making things right. Will definitely try other products they may have in the future. ... show more

Traded in a 30 year old safe for this one. Safes can be heavy so I decided on 1 size smaller than I wanted. Not sure that’s a good decision. It’s a great safe, but it’s filling up fast. Buy bigger.
