This is the best bag. I feel like it was designed for my brain because of all the compartments. I’ve had it for about a month and it’s been holding up so well. I bring it with me everywhere - it’s ideal for travel or if you are on the road a lot. Honestly, this looks like fake leather. Its a pretty low quality leather but its fair for the price. That said, it has a good shape and the handles are well made and nice and narrow which helps them stay put on my narrow shoulders. I like this as a low key work bag. I'm giving it 4 stars because it meets expectations but it is not luxy by any means...just a good serviceable bag. Also it holds my laptop just fine, but it's not a super roomy bag. If you need a simple work bag, this will do the job.

This bag is well-made, looks like it costs more than $65 bucks, did NOT smell as another reviewer mentioned theirs did (well, it smells like leather since it's split cow leather, but that is a wonderful smell for most!), has great storage compartments and is a pretty color. It is darker than I anticipated, more Cognac even in Light Brown but not so dark that I wouldn't keep it. I totally am keeping it! It was also packaged very well. I am keeping the duster bag it came in too. It doesn't seem heavy on its own. The straps are long enough and flat enough where they should stay on a shoulder. The straps are also adjustable. This bag has just the right amount of structure for when it's full and also just right to fold and pack flat into a suitcase if need be. I made sure my MacBook fit in there and it fits perfectly (and the top zips fine with the laptop inside). I am looking forward to using this bag this summer season and also when I travel. It will probably fit fine underneath an economy seat on a plane if it's laying flat on one of its sides. I love the zippered closure for the main compartment, and also the generous sized also zipper compartment on one of its sides. I'd say this is a good dupe for the Madewell totes at about half the cost. I am 5’2”, petite frame and this is how it looks on my shoulder/side.

Product smelled awful. Sat it outside for 10 days to air out but still smelled bad! Tried dryer sheets but still smelled. I would not recommend the hassle of this product. It was not a leather smell. It was foul. Bag is pretty but what a shame it stinks so badly. Everything you put in it adopts the same bad smell. Manufacturer should address this promptly. It is probably fixable. It’s so pretty it’s worth saving if they fix the foul smell.
