  • Fantastic product!
We ordered 2 AP door windows with blackout shades for our Arctic Fox TT. They came very well packaged, no broken or missing parts. My husband watched the YouTube video on installation as well as reading the instructions that came with the windows. He had no problem removing the old glazed glass & frame (good riddance), used Goof Off adhesive remover around the window opening & cleaned it with Costco glass cleaner. He used clear box tape to hold the shade in place & then installed the outer frame & he used blue painters tape to hold the window to the trailer. It fit well except for a narrow gap along the upper portion of the window. He installed the inner frame, all the holes lined up with the previous holes & the outer frame. Then he removed the blue painters tape on the outside. The gap was covered up by the inner frame. And he used clear silicone around the edging to double protect the integrity of the frame leaking from rain. Yep, it was super hard to pull down the shade & push it up. I kept fiddling with it & finally realized by pulling & pushing in the middle of the shade caused a buckling so I grabbed each side with both hands & it became super easy, even using one finger. It helped even more when pulling down, to grab one pleat of the shade to get a better grip. So, there you go! Easy to install, took my husband maybe 1/2-3/4 hour with me just observing. Now we have a nice tinted window to look out of & have a nice blackout shade to block light at night. This is definitely an upgrade to our trailer & they look so nice & high-end. So glad we did this & used AP, much cheaper then other companies & from the reviews I’ve read, identical to other more expensive companies. ... show more

  • Great upgrade!
Like other reviewers, our trailer had all clear-view, reflective, dark tinted windows. That is, except the window on the door, which was a pebble grain, frosted, white window. It looked out of place and was somewhat annoying that you couldn’t see through the window on the door. Plus, the door window had no way to block any light coming through it at night. Just sort of an epic fail on the part of the trailer manufacturer, in my opinion. I saw this window advertised and thought that would be great. I ordered it. OEM manufacturer and quality. It came in excellent condition in good packaging, installed with little hassle, and looks great! It changes the look of the trailer, making it look sleeker and more modern. Plus, it’s so much more functional in that the reflective dark tint keeps the heat out, the built-in shade keeps the light out at night and keeps others from being able to see in, and you can see out through the door window when you want. It’s hands-down one of the best upgrades I’ve made to our trailer. Do follow the installation advice on some of the other reviews. Since others have already given detailed specifics, there is no need for me to go into it here, but the masking tape trick is the way to go, and makes installation much easier. I’m glad I read those reviews before I Installed this window. Thank you for those that posted those specifics. If you are reasonably handy, installation is pretty straightforward. It would be easier with two people, but I did it easily enough by myself. If you’re on the fence about this one, just get it. You’ll be glad you did. ... show more

  • Good Window, But Feels Cheaper Than Stock LCI Window
Overall we are plenty happy with this new window for our camper. I installed it in our 2019 CrossRoads Sunset Trail 33SI travel trailer and had no issues with the fit. I was able to install it in about 20 minutes by myself. Likes: - the ability to see out the window when the shade is up (we hated that the stock LCI window was etched glass where you have no idea who is outside your RV before opening the door) - the ability to pull down the shade and (almost) fully block out outside light - relatively painless installation - unless there is a lot of light coming from inside the RV, you can't really see anything from the outside. At the most you see silhouettes of people inside. Dislikes: - the stock LCI window snapped together from both sides, thus requiring no screws for installation. This gave it a nice, clean look and makes this window look a bit cheaper because you can see all the screw holes from the inside - the shade is a bit difficult to pull up and down, and sometimes, when opening the shade, the "accordion" style shade material doesn't fold quite properly, requiring having to poke it a bit to get it to fold correctly while raising the handle. Another dislike, but at no fault of the manufacturer of this window, is that you can't pull up/down the shade while the door is closed due to the screened door. Just something to think about for future purchasers is that if you want to move the shade, you will have to open the door, go outside, close the screened door (if you have one), adjust the shade, open the screened door, and then close your RV door. ... show more

  • Best DIY RV mod for the $$!
Great product and super easy to install - even if you have 2 left screwdrivers! The only thing I would add to directions is for installation. Make sure you get all the mounting screws started, loosely, before you tighten them. I will update if it leaks however, it seemed to have better sealant than the original. Must do project for all campers. It comes with a template if you fo not already have a door window. Happy csmping!!! ... show more

  • Best upgrade ever, 30 minute install!
By far one of the easiest and best upgrades we've done to our mini winnie 25b! My wife loves how we finally can either see through our door or pull the shade down so you don't have sunlight streaming in in the morning, plenty of videos online, the entire install took me about 30 minutes
