I mostly use the number 6 version of the same product and would still recommend using the larger one if you can. I had heard about problems with this one, but I have had none of these issues. Maybe this was a problem for earlier runs. I also experimented with this one using it and a number 6 for a crossover as I couldn't fit anything else. It worked fine, surprisingly, with MicroTrains six axle heavyweight cars and the Broadway Ltd. Pennsy T1. Kato Unitrack is a great product line.
