Description

Founded in 1990 by Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup, Dansko’s mission is to improve the quality of people’s lives through our products, our passion, and our commitment to a better tomorrow. Former horse trainers, Mandy and Peter were traveling in Europe when they found the perfect “barn shoe” – the traditional clog. They returned with suitcases filled with clogs for family and friends, and soon started selling them from the back of their station wagon. Word of the clogs’ comfort traveled quickly, and Dansko (meaning “Danish shoe”) was born.

  • These are fabu
Size: 10.5-11 Color: Honey Distressed
So comfy and really help prevent my feet from hurting so bad while walking due to my Achilles tendonitis. The color looks so boho and hip and goes with everything. They have a nice leather that has a subtle patina…almost baliage. Love

  • Sturdy, solid arch support and fits true to size.
Size: 7.5-8 Color: Honey Distressed
This product is amazing and always has been in my opinion. This color and grain looks like the picture (tanning color may vary as leathers, so it will be exact or close to the picture. I willI spent years wearing these shoes in my profession. I had stopped when I retired but recently went back to them bc my arches where falling. These provide solid support to your arches. While giving you plenty of room for your toes to relax in the front of the shoe. The heal is strong enough on the shoe that if you foot moves with the shoe (as clogs do sometimes when you step while walking). I find these to be a solid, comfortable and dependable shoes for folks on their feet all day or someone needing a therapeutic shoe. If you wear a medium width shoe normally, stay with that for this shoe. I find these to fit true to size in width and length. Dansko has been around a longtime and have proven the test of time that they provide excellent product. ... show more

  • Size down for narrow feet or if between sizes.
Size: 7.5-8 Color: Honey Distressed
I’m a true 8. Which is between the 7.5-8, and the 8-9. Initially, I ordered the larger size which you can see in the second picture, I wore them around my house and they were just so floppy even though they stayed on. I took a chance and ordered the smaller size which is much better!! There’s still a small gap at the back and it still slips off my heel, but the front portion of the shoe fits much better. I have narrow feet with a high arch and these are amazing. I’m new to clogs, but they seem easy to adjust to. They don’t feel like they’re flying off my feet or anything. They are a tad heavy, I wouldn’t wear these as a medical professional all day, but they do have excellent arch support and are my gosh cute with summer dresses!! If you order the leather, they do not breathe. Your feet will get hot. ... show more

  • Classic Dansko comfort, great color
Size: 10.5-11 Color: Honey Distressed
You either love or hate the clog look and fit...I fall firmly in the love category. Have had many pairs! As a woman in a medical/scientific setting, I really like these for their comfort and support (for my moderately wide feet with tall arches) and also that I can wear them with jeans or wear them with slacks and dresses when I have to dress more formally. I generally wear a 41, but found I had to bump up to a 42 with this specific pair. The color is classic retro clog (camel), which works for my style - great with light wash jeans and an army green shirt! Only caveat about Danskos in general is they aren't great if you are walking on un-even surfaces a lot, due to the somewhat tall and narrow heel. I've rolled an ankle just once or twice because I was doing something stupid like hopping around in the woods in them. ... show more

  • Must have shoes for Restaurant industry folks
Size: 10.5-11 Color: Honey Distressed
The media could not be loaded. When I was younger I told myself I’d rather have blisters and sore feet than wear Danskos or Crocs. Well, I am now mature enough to realize that comfort is priority #1 when you’re on your feet for 8+ hours a day. I ordered these and the Pro 2.0. My thoughts on these here: Pros: 1. cute color, can wear outside of work 2. comfortable and will help with my tarsal tunnel due to arch support 3. Non slip is a must Cons: 1. Tight if you wear socks 2. The insert is trash. I had to quite literally RIP IT OUT so the work insert I bought could fit without feeling to tight around the middle of my foot. 3. The stitching around the shoe could be more clean. For these being over $130 I’d expect better craftsmanship The main differences between the Professional and the Pro 2.0 are the sole inserts (with the 2.0 inserts being far superior) and the heel height being slightly lower on these than the 2.0. I’ll update my review after my next 11 hour shift. ... show more

  • Awesome shoe
I have had these in the brown tooled leather for about a month now and I find these to be durable and comfortable to work in. I work in house keeping for a hospital and except for my breaks I am on my feet. These shoes take a pounding from me crouching to wipe under beds and the bottoms of commodes and I am forever kicking my cleaning cart as I am moving from room to room. The fact is these don't even scuff. I also have an old ankle injury that with extra weight and age has really gotten aggravated with all the hours on my feet. With these shoes i can get through my shift and not feel like I am completely lame. Not saying I am completely pain free but i can still walk and not limp cause my heel and ankle are hurting so bad. They took a couple days for me to break in but now I wear them every where. I have never payed this much for a pair of shoes but am so glad i took a chance and got these. If you can find a store to try them on first that would be best since they run small and if you have a high instep they take a little bit of time to break in. I will definitely order these again in another color ... show more

  • Progfessional protective shoe
Size: 7.5-8 Color: Honey Distressed
I had two toe fractures (same big toe) at my teaching job. So I noticed my dermatologist wearing Danskos. I knew I had to have a pair!
