I’m 5 foot nine and wear a size 14. I’m about 180 pounds give or take. I ordered the XL and it fit like it was tailor made for me. It has a slight amount of stretch and being so tall I was worried it wouldn’t come to my knee, but it comes just to the middle or lower part of my knee. It is perfect to wear with knee-high boots. It fits like a second skin, but not too tight. It just skim over the body and is a very nice material. Its quality made the sea actually match up to the plaid! Usually in a low priced product that doesn’t happen so you can tell they put a lot of effort into making this quality skirt.

Given the heavier weight of this fabric and the fact that this particular color/print is actually a woven fabric (not a graphic of a print on plain fabric), it is not the most comfortable against the skin and if you want to wear tights under it, which would be really conducive to the thickness of the fabric, you will have to wear a slip, otherwise it will grab and bunch as you walk. Measure yourself with a cloth tape and follow the size chart. If you are between sizes, the fabric does have some stretch and a snugger fit may smooth some figures. If you are older and/or heavy you WILL need a quality slip to make it look smooth and figure flattering. I am in this group at 52 and having had a child. If it had a better supportive waistband, and if it were lined, it would be 10 stars out of 5 because the color/print is 100% accurate and it looks lovely with a black, white, gray or red top and black accessories. It can be sheeked up.

Love these skirts! Perfect length on my 5’5” frame. Comfy and so cute on. I did have to size up to an xl to be comfortable. I think I’m in between sizes as the large was too tight for my comfort and the xl is a bit too loose. I’ll take more loose any day, though. Bought a number of designs.

The cream colored skirt is hideous. The color is off and the fabric is extremely see-through and flimsy. Terrible fabric. It’s REALLY cheap. However, the houndstooth skirt is totally fine and is good for work. I don’t know why the quality is so vastly different.

Waist 26 hips 39 I am usually a size 8 or a small 10. 140lbs. Medium fits perfect. With a little stretch passes the sit test. Good material. May be slightly see through for some. Just wear skirt color of under garments and/or legging shorts or slip. The material is fine thick enough for office and/or outing. Kate Kasin makes great fitting skirts. I have now purchased 7 skirts. Interested in what else they have.

I normally wear an XL but it did not fit me. It was great material and length (hit right above the knee) and it wasn't too tight overall (clingy) but it was too tight in the waist. I would size up. The material is a nice thickness, no slip needed. Very comfortable and flattering fit.
