These night vision lenses has been my most useful purchase so far this year. I originally bought these because I often drive at night in a city that gets a ton of rain, and the driving conditions get terrible. These lenses actually do what they say - things look clearer, and the glare is way down. I’ve also noticed they work well during day time fog as well. A surprising application I’ve used them for is fishing at sunset. My polarized Ray Ban’s lose detail towards the evening but these lenses actually enhance the clarity. I’ve been able to see striped bass at up to 20 ft depth at sunset, and it’s been pretty fun for sight fishing. The lenses are pretty durable and well made, and are much lighter than I originally anticipated. The case is a plus for throwing it into my glove compartment. Would definitely recommend based on the price point and for how effective they are. I live right outside of the countryside where it often gets rainy, and these lenses provide excellent clarity for me at night! They also work pretty darn well in fog and rain during the day.

I’ve tried other blue light glasses and I’ve always found that they haven’t really worked. This is because those had clear lenses and were made to be more fashionable than useful, but any blue light glasses with clear lenses won’t block a significant amount of blue light to be useful. These make screens look like how night shift looks on an iPhone. The screen is still totally usable and your eyes adjust to the color temperature pretty quickly, but you can reduce your blue light exposure while using the computer. This is especially important if you use computers or screens at night time, because the blue light disrupts your circadian rhythm and can lead to insomnia. These are very fashionable too and I really like the clear frames. I also appreciate the wide variety of styles these glasses come in, with some better for outdoor work, some for driving, and some for winter sports where the sun reflects off the snow and you need to reduce your blue light exposure. These glasses also come with a soft case as well as a hard shell case, so you will be all set to use these!

I purchased them for night driving. The fit is perfect. They don’t make images as bright as I expected. Having used yellow lens for bike riding and hunting in the dark, I expected these to give the same clarity as I’ve had before. They’re high quality, just not as bright.

So, we have a full blown pandemic of stupidity. Amazon sells hyper bright LED lights, so every nimrod has to equip their car with this menace. Driving at night has become an absolute nightmare thanks to these thoughtless geniuses. "Regular" car lights have arrived at the brightness that used to be reserved for high beams. If you arrive without a crash caused by the blinding glare, you're sure to need some Ibuprofen. These glasses turn the super bright blue light into super bright yellow light, which is slightly less piercing to your retinas. I would say they fix between 5 and 10 percent of the problem, which may one day be addressed by law makers, but probably won't.

I'm 60 with a bit of the age related condition where the eyes aren't picking up light as much. I thought these would work, but all they did was make the oncoming headlights and the red tail lights the same blurriness but with a yellow tint to the blur. I returned them.

I bought these for night driving, specifically because they are described as "Polarized Night Driving Glasses." My eyes aren't dealing as well with the glare of oncoming headlights as well as they used to. The Kast King frames are great. Strong and lightweight. They fit very securely but at the same time are so comfortable that you can easily forget you have them on. The lens color itself is great for low light, fog, and rainy conditions. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any discernible polarization on these lenses. I have worn them back to back with several other pairs of polarized sunglasses I own for comparison, and these are definitely not polarized. I have some expensive ones (Costa, Bajio) and some really inexpensive ones (Renegade, Ike). The polarization on all of those glasses is highly effective. One of the easiest ways to check is to look at your computer monitor with them on. Look straight and you'll see the screen. Tilt your head and you'll see the image darken and it should eventually go to nearly black as the polarization of the glasses aligns with the polarization on the screen. My images are doing that test. I get a very, very subtle color shift only. Things become more yellow at a 45° tilt, but there is no sign of true polarization here. I purchased 2 pairs, one for me and one for a friend. Both will be returned and I'll try something else.

I don't normally use glasses for driving, but there are times at night, especially after a long late shift where the glare of oncoming traffic makes it difficult to pay attention to the road with tired eyes. I've tested this for about 2 weeks now and have found them quite useful during night drives. It reduces the glare of oncoming traffic, which is super helpful especially during rainy drives. They are lightweight, so you don't tire from wearing them. Because of the lightweight design, I'm not so sure of it's durability, but I don't expect to be throwing these around in the car or using them with extreme sports, so it doesn't factor so much for me. Time will tell how long these last, but I'm happily surprised by how functional they are for my late night drives.
