  • Excellent Small Fishing Bag
Color: A: Black Camo - Standard
KastKing has done it again with creating a very nice product at a good price. This is a really nice fishing backpack and I am not sure you will find as good of a bag at this price. It's a smaller bag which is made to hold two 3600 fishing boxes. This is perfect for me as I don't like carrying a large bag when I am shore fishing. I keep my lure selection much smaller compared to when on a boat as there are fewer presentations that can be used when shore fishing. This bag has the option to be used as a sling bag or as a two strap backpack. You simply unzip the strap and it becomes two straps. There is plenty of storage with multiple pockets. The top pocket is a velcro enclosure. The bottom uses a zipper and comes with removable ziplock plastic bags for soft plastics. There are other pockets inside the bag as well. It comes with a rod holder, which I don't use unless I happen to be wading. It also has a drink holder large enough for a bottle. The bag is said to made of water resistant material, but I assume that if you are out in the rain, it will not keep everything dry. The back of the bag is padded which cushions your back from the gear inside. All the zippers seem solid and move easily. Lastly, this thing comes with tons of attachment hooks. This allows for attaching pliers, scissors, and other tools. ... show more

  • Sturdy material! With great tackle trays!
Color: G: Khaki Camo - Large(with (2) 3600 tack...
This bag is made of fantastic materials! It feels great, looks good, and fits a decent amount of tackle! The bait binder it came with was also a great addition! By letting it be removable, I was able to leave my tackle bag and bring just the binder to have just my baits instead of all my terminal tackle too! I also really liked how it came with extra zipper grips for if one breaks! It also came with two good sized tackle trays and I can say they are pretty water tight! Wonderful product! Can't wait to get some new rods! ... show more

  • This bag punches well above its price
Color: B: Blue Camo - Standard
This is an excellent bag that could use just a couple of tweaks. For what it is, it performs admirably. It is very comfortable, the rod holder is very secure. You don’t need to use an additional tether to feel that your rod will not move. It works with both my bait caster, and my medium, heavy, spinning rod. The option to be a sling bag, or backpack, is great. I think this bag would benefit from some Molle webbing , or just some more attachment points. There is no place for me to secure my pliers sheath, might just be the Piscifun pliers I have though. A pouch or compartment for a Phone, to be carried on the outside of the bag, would put this particular product over the top. The closures and zippers are high quality. I’ve bought way too many wade fishing bags, from a $20 no name to a $250 Daiwa, to a $500 Orvis… This KastKing bag is comparable to $175-$225 in my rotation. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • Hands free fishing.
Color: C: Khaki Camo - Standard
Just bought this for my 10 year old. It's a perfect size for him, but might buy another for myself. Holds just the right amount of gear for a day trip. Well stitched, seems sturdy, looks like it was built to last. Love that the shoulder straps zip together for a sling or separate for both shoulders. Only disappointment is that the water bottle holder is too small for a 32-40oz water bottle so that will need to go inside. Does not come with the pliers and scissors in the photo. ... show more

  • What a deal! Get it!
Color: E: Black Camo - Large(with (2) 3600 tack...
Just arrived today and first impressions are awesome! Perfect size for what i need. Description says fits 3600 size utility boxes and it also comfortably fit 3700 size as well! Enough space to fit a total of 3 utility boxes! Also has the removable outer pack with zip lock style storage bag on rings for soft plastic baits or whatever you want to put in there really. Nice size water bottle holder. Few extra open pockets inside. 1 rod holder. Haven't used that yet but looks to be just fine for a slimmer size rod handle common on baitcaster rods. Nice to have an option for sling bag or backpack straps. Seems very well made and should last. Very impressive at this price point!! ... show more

Good quality. Defiantly the way to go if you are a versatile fisherman. Creek , pond , kayak , boat etc. enough storage to keep a bit of everything without being too bulky.

  • Great bag, terrible strap
Color: F: Blue Camo - Large(with (2) 3600 tackl...
Decided I needed to upgrade to a larger bag for my fishing hikes. Previous bag was a sling bag like this one but could only hold 2 3600 tackle boxes and had a small pocket that could hold around 3 bags of soft plastics and a leader line spool. This bag can hold all of that (with more organization for soft plastics), a rain jacket, water bottle, snacks, it has a reel holder, a bungie for pliers, and tons of D-rings to hook other things on. Its objectively a better bag.... however.. The sling is terrible. You have the option of a sling that is WAY too fat and will rub against your neck or a backpack with straps that are way too thin. Kastking should've decided either to make this a sling bag or a backpack. The option to switch between sling/backpack kind of ruins the comfortability of the bag. The sling option, imo, is completely pointless its so wide. In addition the method they use for adjustment of the straps is way harder to adjust than it should be. They really over engineered this aspect of the bag to the point its simply not good. All that said I'm probably keeping the bag. Its a great bag design the straps just let it down. I did a 10mile fishing hike today and while it was less comfortable than my previous bag it also wasn't unbearable or anything. But it could've been a home run if they had a better strap system. Imo deicide if its a backpack or a sling bag and just go with that. It doesn't have to do both. I might simply cut one of the straps off and buy a pad so I can use it as a sling bag. ... show more
