I have eyed this coat for over a year when I first saw it in store! They unfortunately did not have my size when I first discovered it, however I discovered it online in my size! The online pictures do not do this coat justice. This coat is STUNNING in real life, with the light beige being a compliment to literally any color you are wearing. This coat matches black, brown, white, and all colors in between! The subtleness of the red blue and black plaid enhances the overall simple yet chic look. Now as far as the fabric, you will not go cold! It seems to be a pretty well insulated coat, and I even found that I do not need a thick layer (I.e. sweater) underneath it. The coat reaches a little below my calf, which is exactly what I was looking for (for reference my height is 5’5). I believe this length will keep warmer versus a length even slightly past the waist or knees. The wool seems to be of a high quality, and the coat has some nice weight to it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an elegant, feminine, universal timepiece, as I picture myself being able to wear this for a lifetime! Of course hoping I stay this size forever haha. This tweed jacket is everything! The funnel collar, the pearl adorned pocket flaps, and also back pleats! So posh and looks great with black leather leggings and booties! So happy it went on sale and I finally scooped it up! This piece will be in my wardrobe forever. Thanks, Karl!

The coat is much more red then pink, the side flap pockets are fake and the sleeves are much too long though the rest of the coat fits nicely. I kept it because it's a good start of a coat that I can improve but it was not exactly worth the cost.

I have been looking for a wool dress coat for years. I actually first saw this Karl Lagerfeld beauty on another retailer's site, but then I saw the price through Amazon and pulled the trigger. A nice investment piece you will enjoy for years.
