Shipped early. The instructions where off and appeared to be mislabeled but my husband figured it out. We got this for a 7bl year old who weighs about 45 pounds. We intend to keep if for at best, 5 years pending her growth with weight and height. I must say, i love this! Quality exceeded my expectations. Its sturdy but does squeak a bit when my teen son climbs up. So i would say its great for elementary kids and preteens. My only issue was the ladder placement. Where I have it, the ladder placement didn't work for me. But ill just order a universal ladder for bunks. The mattress. So 9nhvae 3 different mattress sizes. I tried each one in this. The 8 inch mattress was my preferred option bc it gave more bar sapce so a kid doesnt fall off but I ended going with my 10 inch mattress bc it is more comfortable. Anything thicker will exceed the depth of the bunk. I am very happy and pleased with this.

The set of bunkbeds was easy to put together and they are very sturdy. The design goes with any decor. They were an excellent value for the price that we paid for them. The only issue I have is it is difficult to make up the top bunk with sheets because you have to basically climb up onto the top bunk to put the sheets on.

When I received the product the box was in ok shape. I opened it and could tell that it was messed up. The paint was chipped in a lot of spots and began to rust. I purchased this during prime week so I got free shipping. Which is why I ended up keeping the bed because I didn’t want to pay for the $100 shipping fee. Once I put the bed together it wasn’t bad. I was able to fix the spots that were chipped and rusted. The plug for the desk gets extremely hot, like fire hazard hot. So that is not usable unfortunately. Wish the paint wasn’t chipped and rusted and wish the plug worked. The led lights that came with it is supposed to be able to plug into the outlet on the desk but it has a short in it so when it’s touched that lights flicker and it also gets hot. The quality all together sucks.

Pretty quick to put together, only issue was top rail one of the wholes was strip so I couldn’t screw it down. But everything else was good no missing parts and definitely sturdy.

For the price, this bunk bed has been great. I have 2 five year old boys and its been 6 months and this bed has held up. Putting it together wasnt terrible, and the metal is thick and solid. I have seen them hanging on it and jumping around and the bed doesn't have issues. It doesn't speak very much either. Would highly recommend.
