I'm an avid hiker and I live in a colder climate. I purchased this jacket for function but couldn't resist the fun colors and patterns offered, and was willing to trust the quality since it is aimed towards winter sports. I've never heard of or tried any Kari Traa products before, so I was surprised by the great quality. It fits me better than North Face jackets and shirts ever could (I still wear them often but honestly I might trade them out for Kari Traa stuff from now on) and the material is seriously as soft as butter. It's now my go-to jacket whether I'm on a day hike or on my way to a lecture. I am pretty excited to keep exploring the brand. Just wish there was more consistency on Amazon with prices and size availability.

Since living in Norway many years ago, Kari Traa has become one of my favorite brands! This jacket is exceptional quality. The fleece is very soft and stretchier than your typical fleece jacket, making it very comfortable. Im actually pregnant right now and 30 lbs more than my usual weight, but it still fits over my belly so that was a pleasant surprise! So far I've worn it comfortably outside with temperatures between 30-40°F.
