This is a fun unit - it is our first karaoke machine and very versatile - great for families and entertaining. When hosting holiday meals, it can be challenging to come up with after dinner activities & this is ideal. We set it up for after our Easter dinner & our family and guests, adults & kids alike, had a great time & were really impressed. In terms of set up - it's simple. Once powered on, the unit guides through the set up from language to the wifi connection. The menu of options is intuitive. We started with the KaraFun app (the try it option). With this option, the song selection is limited and some are only 30 seconds without a subscription; however, the lyrics screen is colorful & the main and background vocal volume may each be controlled. Additionally, a QR code appears allowing guests to access the playlist on their phones. We also used the built-in YouTube app and searched our favorite songs as karaoke & it worked great! As for sound quality, it is even better than I'd hoped. On the set up menu, the bass feature may be activated and this made the audio sound even better - best around 70%-80%. volume. Although I picked this up for the karaoke feature, it can also be used as a bluetooth speaker & as a pa unit so it's a very versatile unit easy to take to a party or other event given its weight & size. Overall, this is great unit for those who host events (entertaining at home, business/marketing, etc.), or want to turn a rainy day at home into a concert experience for the entire family. It arrives in a nice box & would would be a wonderful family gift.

It's got a simple design but packs a punch as far as the sound goes. It's got a nice equal balance of your highs your mids and the bass That can get loud enough to fill up a decent size room. The touch screen is easy to navigate through It allows you hook to Wi-Fi Bluetooth and there's couple of apps already on it if you're wanting to use them for karaoke to get lyrics that's an option. The microphones are just a solid as the system itself they pick up pretty well but like any microphone you want to sing directly into it and not off to the sides You might catch yourself starting to break up a little bit But they are decent microphones and well made and rechargeable. There's a cool little light display with it too if you're into light displays This one has one. The microphone store nicely in the system itself so they're safe and out of the way from being broken or maybe dropped or whatever so nice little storage area for them in the system. The sound quality is in my opinion rich and clean and clear and again it does get loud and you don't lose that that clarity as you turn up the volume You keep the quality even if you go louder with the sound with the volume. Overall I like as I said good sound quality it's a solid system well built the screen is touch screen and it's easy to navigate You can connect Wi-Fi Bluetooth to it It does come with an app or two on it for music it's not that heavy it's got the light display and I would definitely recommend it I think it's at a fair value.

I wasn't sure about ordering this due to the price and mixed reviews, but had been looking for a decent karaoke, so I ordered it. When I received it, I noticed the weight first, which usually means quality speakers. This was no exception as I turned it on and not only heard, but felt the startup tone! It was small, but powerful for its size. The screen on this is just a simple android tablet that controls the device. You can use a USB device on it if you like, for playing music, and/or singing along with it, or you can connect it to wifi and have the whole internet available. You tube and Spotify have songs with lyrics you can sing along with to sound like a singing star due to the microphones and software included. The two microphones work nicely and can have various presets to make you sound great even if you aren't a great singer. It is fun and easy to use as you can choose a few different mic settings as well as lowering or removing background and lead vocals. Both microphones and the main unit use C charging and although the mics charge quickly enough, the main unit can take from a few hours to 24 hours, depending on battery level and charger used. None of the instructions cover this. A full charge will give you many hours of use, but I can't give an exact number, but I can say that we used it with both mics for about an hour, and it had about 75-80% still left! A really nice add is six months of KaraFun membership for free, and with no credit card info needed to start! That's a big plus, but I can't say the same for the monthly rates after the six months. It does have a lot of music available in its catalog, so there's always something for most. If you use it a lot, it's probably a great thing to have because it is easy to find songs and music you like with timed lyrics on the screen. I wasn't able to connect my TV, but it does have a mirroring like option. I would like that to be easier and be able to connect my TV. This is a fairly powerful karaoke for its size, but the screen size and inability to connect to my TV is a big minus! The price is also a challenge for me because I'd like to see it be more affordable and at least be able to connect my TV so I can read the lyrics on a large screen instead of squinting or using my reading glasses. Overall, it is a nice unit that is fun to use, and I would recommend it for it's compact size and great sound for what it is, but I don't think I can justify the over $200 price tag, even with the KaraFun free for six months.
