Our family loves to sing, so we were excited to bring home a karaoke machine. We started with the Ikarao X1, drawn in by its sleek design and promises of portability and fun. However, what began as eager anticipation quickly turned into frustration. Trying to access YouTube through the Ikarao's built-in browser felt like we were dialing up to the internet in the 90s! The sluggish performance made finding and playing songs a chore. Even worse, we couldn't access Amazon Music or the vast library of karaoke apps on Google Play. But the biggest frustration of all? The microphone volume control. The kids would constantly leave the mics on the Ikarao at full blast, not understanding that adjusting the system volume wouldn't affect the mic levels. This resulted in ear-splitting feedback and a very confusing (and loud!) experience for everyone. Enter the Singmond x100. While it may not be as compact as the Ikarao, it more than makes up for it in functionality. With seamless access to Google Play, we now have a universe of karaoke apps at our fingertips. The user-friendly interface makes navigating songs and settings a breeze. And, most importantly, the separate microphone volume controls have brought peace and harmony back to our living room! The difference is night and day. The kids, who quickly lost interest in the Ikarao, now spend hours belting out their favorite tunes on the Singmond x100. We've gone from frustrated and confused to having karaoke nights filled with laughter and music. Worked for 4 hours After my third attempt!!! to resolve a serious issue with the karaoke machine I purchased from Amazon which arrived on February 4th. When it arrived, it was missing the ACC plug-in cord, so I reached out immediately about the missing adapter. I only received one response regarding the adapter, and since then, I’ve received no help or follow-up. We used our own AUX cord just to test it on day one, and the machine worked briefly. I turned it off, expecting to use it for my Galentine’s party on February 7th—the main reason I purchased it. On the day of my event, the machine never turned back on. We tried every troubleshooting method possible and nothing worked. Now, they have stopped responding entirely. 🚮🚮🚮🚮

I have had this for 3 months, and the positives: It delivers with regards to powerful sound, and the microphones have worked well - there's no latency at all. It's pretty easy to use - I did have to update the Youtube app, but that's pretty straightforward (just like adding an app to your phone or tablet). However, the microphone batteries do recharge - they just don't recharge by plugging it in with a USB Cable (which there is a port in the base of the hand microphone). I had to do a workaround where I bought a battery charger (about $20), and then just take out the battery out of the microphone and charge it that way, which achieves the result, but not optimal. I found out this solution only by going to the Singmood facebook company page, and asking for help on the battery - thankfully another user suggested that idea. I tried emailing the company directly using the email address in their instruction manual - no response at all. While the touch tablet is simple - unfortunately, the touch response is very laggy. Also, when I turn it on, it sometimes has difficulty connecting to the wifi, so I manually have to re-add the router. Again, it's an extra 2 steps, but given the high cost of it, I expect better. I pretty much keep it charged up and have put in 1 hour with no problem. However, I haven't gone out into a non-electrical area and tested how long it will go. All in all it's fine, and it delivers sound and the microphone quality is good. However, I'm not pleased with the janky tablet, as well as the non-charging microphones - and that I've never heard back from their customer support. At this point, I'm just accepting if that there's a part that malfunctions, I've got a big ol' paperweight.

I'll revise my rating once I hear from support and square things away. The product arrived in good condition; however, the instructions were unclear and not user-friendly. The touchscreen/tablet included with the device feels extremely outdated—every action is delayed, causing frequent input errors. Even downloading and installing apps takes far longer than it should, as if the hardware is a decade old. Another major frustration is the on-screen return/back button. It’s a large circular icon placed directly over parts of the interface, blocking important options within various apps. Because of its position, trying to select anything often triggers the back button instead, making basic navigation unnecessarily difficult. I’ve contacted customer support for help with setting up Spotify and screen sharing and am waiting to see how responsive they are. Overall, the out-of-box experience has been frustrating and far from intuitive.

We love the item, BUT we noticed it was rocking as we moved it around and when my husband laid it down to see what was going on, we noticed one of the wheels. The metal piece is detaching. It’s like it’s cracked. What can you do about this? We hate to send it back because we need it for our event that’s coming up but it needs to be made right and here’s a picture attached.
