We have a ½ acre spacious lot, and upgraded to this SONY speaker since my previous Samsung MX-T70 was giving me issues(had it for 5 years though). Although I was very happy with my previous speakers (MX-T70(1) and MX-T50(2), the quality of sound, including the bass from the SONY ULT Tower 10 is far superior. Everyone at the pool party was impressed with the clarity of sound and how loud 1 single speaker could cover such a large area. If you can afford the splurge on this speaker, you should do it! This is absolutely the best Party-Karaoke speaker out there. SONY blew the competition out. The sound is just unbelievably crisp. I also use this speaker as a sound bar for my 75” TV and it’s amazing. I don’t activate CC anymore… audio clarity is by far the best I’ve ever experienced. BUY IT!!

This Sony karaoke speaker is amazing! The sound is, of course, top notch. Sony is known for this. But the main feature that I love is the ability to control the pitch of the music. Too high for you? No problem! Bring the pitch down a notch or two to fit your lower voice. Or, go higher to suit your soprano voice. Amazing!! I love it. Highly recommended if you love to sing karaoke, and highly recommended if you hate your neighbors and want to upset them with amazing bass. ... show more

Is not battery powered! But besides that it's great! Loud and clear with good amount of bass. It does weigh a bit so you might struggle moving it around but it at least comes with wheels.

The Sony ULT Tower 10 is not a bad speaker. It looks cool, has some nice lighting and even includes a decent quality wireless mic. The issue I had with it was the the highs were a bit much and caused some listening fatigue. It sounded much better from further away but close up it was in my ears pretty awful. I also found the bass to be a bit underwhelming especially since this speaker sports a 12.5" square woofer. I really expected a bit more for the high price tag. If you want a good sounding speaker from Sony that is worth it I would go with the ULT Tower 9 for price, sound quality and bass. ... show more
